also the game is great

really good! The choices have actual impact on the story, the characters are all interesting and fun to get to know, the romance is cute and has lots of options for how your character reacts to flirting, and the main story is great with building up the mystery and lore of the world around you. I've not completed the whole thing as of writing this, but it's rare for me to be seriously considering doing a second read through immediately after I finish. Definitely excited for more :3

Do you like first person action RPGs with lots of build options and skill trees? Stats that actually influence combat and dialogue? Do you enjoy multiple ways to deal with conflict and reaching quest goals, as well as NPCs acknowledging when you've taken certain paths or options? What about games with large open environments that feel massive but aren't overwhelming? That encourage exploration with lots of pieces of environmental storytelling and tons of secret areas? Companions that feel like they're a part of the world and have interesting conversations with your MC about what you've been through? I've had a really great time with Avowed and do genuinely recommend it to fans of the genre. It's not Skyrim, and that's not a bad thing whatsoever

it's cute, sweet, and also similar vibes to A Short Hike. If that sounds appealing, it's well worth a purchase

this is mostly just to counteract obnoxious dude bros who review bombed, but also the game is really really good. I actually am enjoying this far more than I did for Inquisition, and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ there's so many options for customization in general, it's shocking how often past dialogue options or choices come back up in future conversations, or how many unique lines there are referring to your Rook's background. It's great. Dragon Age is SO back

I'm really not very good at writing reviews for things, but I just really wanted to leave something positive for something that clearly has a ton of love and effort poured into it. It's been one of those experiences where I was sad to not still be around the characters and story when I was done, wishing there had been even more. The options for customization was wonderful, and I *really* appreciate the inclusion of trans and intersex options, and how they are a part of your character and story rather than just an afterthought. Also, there's a full glossary for terms that I had great fun going back and forth from when I didn't understand something. Definitely scratched a very nerdy part of my brain. As someone who has been playing Choice of Games and Hosted Games stuff since 2012, this is one of the best. Highly recommend.
