Pretty solid game if you like are in to the casual genre. This is basically Stardew Valley but dark. Gameplay is decent. It can be a little grindy tho I haven't really played a game in this genre that isn't. Story is ok but makes a lot more sense [and has a lot more depth] if you have the Stranger Sins DLC which I picked up same time as the game. It has a lot more backstory which helps tie everything together better.

Deep crafting and skill system. Lots of mechanics around how you run your graveyard, some are incredibly deep. Tons to do and never enough time in the day. Highly recommend.

Solid remake of one of my favorite series. The changes are fairly minor, graphics obviously being the biggest by far. I was kind of sad they did not add more QOL for ME1 as it *sorely* needs it. ME2-ME3 are far more enjoyable from a gameplay standpoint due to the QOL they added past the first one. But hey, whatever.

Games play well. They run well. They look good. Didn't run in to any bugs which is rare these days. Biggest win for an old Mass Effect vet like me? The DLC. I played each of the games when they first came out and was always moved on to another game by the time the DLC came out so I hadn't played any of it. While most game DLC is meh, the ones included in Legendary edition are actually generally pretty solid and add a lot to the game. If you haven't played the DLC that's almost worth price of admission.

I will note the games are fairly short, at least for RPGs and I had forgotten just how short that is. I had a total of 95 hours from start of ME1 to end of ME3 while doing all the side quests and whatnot. ME1 is shortest while ME3 is longest at around 35h. Your mileage may vary.

Reseña de Acceso anticipado
Fun game in [very] early access. About 20 hrs of content as of this writing with a big content dump a few days prior. Plays a lot like My Time at Portia, Stardew Valley, etc except there are no people really to deal with, no relationships, etc. Mostly right now it is the basics with more to come in the future content drops including an actual story.

Devs update pretty frequently but the game does have a significant amount of bugs from quests not turning in properly to serious FPS drops in areas as it is lacking a lot of optimization. Usual Early Access stuff.

UPDATED: So I had to come edit this years later after getting a free copy and making myself play it. I have 100+ hrs on that one.

I like it a lot now. They made loads of changes since the early days and mostly all for the better. If you are doing quests it often feels just like Fallout now.

My only gripe? Storage. Your stash is capped at 1200 weight. That is it. Cannot store anywhere else. Workaround? Get Fallout 1st subscription and you get a scrap box and ammo box with unlimited weight to put all scrap/ammo in. It helps but I still cap out my stash and it just gets a bit annoying playing inventory organizer. Even items you have for sale in your store are still counted in your stash but it just kind of further pushes it back.

Public events are fun when folks show up and community is generally decent. It probably helps there is no chat ingame and you can mute out all voice. ^_^

Overall maybe 7 of 10 as it sits. If you do not have 1st, and horde like me, it's harder to recommend but overall it is fun and you certainly dont have to pay a dime ingame for anything. Oh and the battlepass they do each season is *free* tho 1st subs get some extra bits but there is quite a lot for everyone regardless which is nice.

I'm a huge Fallout fan and have played literally every game they've put out dating back to the Interplay days. I do not like Fallout 76.

The world, environments, etc all is Fallout. Yes that is true. However, the game just is not cohesive and while some attempts to make it better have certainly improved it from when I played it in beta, others have taken it right back. They did good by adding QOLs and finally bringing NPCs back to the game in Wastelanders update but now they've set enemies to always be YOUR level forever which means even if you're say.. level 30... that stupid level 1 mole rat is now level 30 too! Guess what else? You get the same awful loot as their loot table does not scale so you're dumping ammo and healing to kill effectively a trash mob. Repeat for everything in the game.

That aside, a lot of the game is a cash grab. Beth makes it clear in no uncertain terms that they would LOVE to sell you stuff and takes every opportunity to remind you of this.

Overall it's meh. You might enjoy if for a bit, especially if you got a group of friends to play with, but it's very shallow. If you are looking at it because you love Fallout ... it doesn't deliver and you may want to spend the money elsewhere.

Great game. I backed this in what felt like an eternity ago but even at retail price, it's well worth it. WL3 launched with some pretty bad bugs with the absolute worst being the load times. Since launch and a few patches, they've ironed things out and it runs great with no gripes.

WL3 is your typical turn-based game just like WL2 was and honestly for the most part, it's more of the same which isn't a bad thing. The world is dark, the humor is obsurd and the moral choices are often incredibly difficult. Choice matters. A lot. Things are chained together and when you finally beat the game you'll see a recap of what all happened based on your choices tho many things you'll notice right away like pissing off an entire town. :)

Lots of character customization. Tons of skill checks during the game actually put those skills to use. Most weapon skills are useful. Weapons/armor can be modded.

5/5 would take toaster repair skill again

Fun little game. It certainly has bugs, mostly with physics, that could use some love but generally is quite stable and if you've played Space Engineers, you'll swear they use the same horrible physics! :)

The game as it sits is pretty shallow on content so you can devour most of the game in a short number of hours. Like most games in the genre, you'll end up building your factory bigger to get more money which has literally no use so if you enjoy that sort of thing you're gold here. I hope the dev continues to add new content as time goes on. Good to pick up on sale. I'm at 21 hours and have more than done everything in the game. I actually had to start over as I lost a save file.

Overall it's a good time and will kill a dozen or so hours depending on how much you like tweaking your little gold farm.

Great game! I played the first one on PS3 when it came out and loved it quite a bit. When the second one came out, I twinged a bit seeing it was no longer turn-based like the first one. I like the old school JRPGs and that's always been a staple of the genre. Over years that has changed and I guess I've had to adapt.

Story is decent. It isn't excellent but it is decent and [generally] coherant complete with a few twists.

Gameplay is generally solid. Combat plays out reasonable well tho I miss my turn-based. No more random encounters as you can see monsters in the world unlike the first one. Lots of loot. Armor. Accessories. Weapons. Usual RPG fare.

Kingdom building is tedius but generally worthwhile as it gives you a secondary way to improve your character, army, et al via research. It also makes a minigame of sorts in chasing down new citizens with new specializations.

Skirmishes.... ehhh.... I hated them honestly. I'm just thankful they are almost entirely avoidable sans a few times. Some folks may like them, not me.

Overall a good buy. I got it on sale for like $20 and certainly worth the price.

Mini review for mini content. Ragnarok is a free [if you own ARK] map for ARK: Survival Evolved. This started as a community map before WC picked it up and is still in development [read: Southern part of the map is not finished].

Even with that said, its bigger and plays better overall than The Island. The map is beautiful and keeps getting better with each update. Bonus is that it has all the content from Scorched Earth which is a paid DLC! [even if you didn't buy SE!]

Thankfully this was a free DLC. It *could* be great if the devs would actually put any time into it. From insanely long loading times [15 minutes for me, most folks report 30+ commonly] to crashing and bugs... it just isn't playable at this time. I truly hope WC fixes it because it is a great *idea* with poor implementation. I think it actually got worse after WC acquired it from the community. [used to be a mod]

When I first got this game it was very early in the Early Access process and to be honest, it sucked. Graphics were pretty but the game was buggy, ran terrible, and just simply was not fun. I shelved it.

So I came back a month or so ago as it was out of EA and I figured... it has to be better now right? Besides, I'm all down for Minecraft + dinos! Thankfully I was right, it is bettter... in almost every single way and the things I didn't especially like? I could adjust the config for most of them. Sweet!

That said, there's still some pros and cons I'll quickly go over:

Good:
- Tame dinos! Ride a t-rex! RAWR!
- You can get your build on
- Workshop support and heavily moddable / configurable
- Graphics are purdy
- Controller support if you're in to that sort of thing
- Supports Oculus Rift [haven't tried it personally yet]

Bad:
- Default settings can be extremely grindy. Thankfully this can be adjusted quite a bit.
- I'm running the game on a GF 1080 and it runs great with no stutter. Problem is, I'm on a 1080 to get that performance. If you don't have a beast rig you may have issues running the game. This is literally the new Crysis. Devs haven't done much in the way of optimization sadly. I ran it on a 770 when I played the first time and it was very bad.
- No terrain editing. Want to dig a hole? You can't. Terrain is completely unalterable other than trees and random boulders you can smash for resources.
- Suffers from same sandbox survival game issues as everything else in the genre, eventual boredom unless you really like building
- Official servers can be a mess, granted this is true of most any game
- Primitive Plus total conversion that ships with the game is a disaster which is a shame because it has a ton of potential if WC ever fixes it
- Devs can be... hit and miss

Ugly:
- The snap building system makes me want to take my own life

Weird:
- Devs seem to like picking up community-made items and bundling with the game. This is how Ragnarok came about as well as Primitive Plus. I hope they tossed some coin at those folks.

So do I recommend it? Yes with the caveats above. The free DLC added a great couple maps, especially Ragnarok, which vastly improves upon the first EA map, The Island. Future DLC promises to add even more things and there is a season pass you can get tho it is $$$ on top of a game being sold as a AAA title. I got it in EA when it was like $10 so I have no room to complain and will be getting the season pass most likely soon. Like most survival games, you can play it single player but it is better with friends and fully supports both PvP and PvE so you can do what you like.
