Fun little game. If you just focus on going through the stages implemented right now it takes about 20 hours give or take. If you get distracted by building or whatnot, add more time. Needs more content for the price point but roadmap looks good and we'll see how these devs do as it's just a two-man French team.

It's hard not to recommend 7D2D after 1000+ hours of playing it. I've had the game since A7 and watched it morph in to several different games over the years. The devs seem to never quite get to where they want and change direction periodically but hopefully they are on a solid track now. That said, the game has really only gotten better over the years as they improve the core items and iron out major bugs. The problem is, the game has no real staying power. This is the game you pick up and play with your buddies for a month before you get bored and shelve it for awhile. Mods add a lot of life to it and there certainly are many out there but end of day it's a tower defense game with survival aspects. The gameplay loop is the same. Scour for resources. Build up. Horde night. Repair from horde night. Repeat. Barring cheesing the horde it isn't uncommon to have a significant time investment fixing your base afterwards. Either way, it's fun and you certain will get your money out of it. The game is pretty customizable as well so you can adjust most things to your liking and modpacks like Undead Legacy completely change the game.

Thumbs up with caveats. Overall maybe 6/10 overall but it was an ok time killer.

Standard casual farm/combat game like Stardew, Portia, etc except this one has an identity crisis. If you think you're getting in to a cozy farming game, this isn't really it. The game has farming and quests [mostly go get me x] but no relationships and is 90%+ based around combat. Go get materials for upgrades. Go get materials for this quest. Combat is decent and has options on weapon type and magic abilities which is a huge step up from press X to attack on many of these. Combat is decent but nothing to write home about.

And Farming? oh about that... You do have a farm you inherited because of course you do but it feels bolted on. You're a solider out slaughtering the wilds and you also grow pineapple in your spare time? o.O It has zero use outside of a couple quests and generally just generating large amounts of money to pay for upgrades and craft healing items. Basically farming exists as a method to subsidize your combat fetish.

Story is ok. Graphics are nice. Sound and music are nice. Overall it is really well put together but it simple does nothing do or brings anything to the table alongside the fact it has just bolted a few bits of other games together in a mostly coherant way. I put in 27 hours and completed every single achievement so it is not horrible long and honestly there is zero replay value unless you want to go farm materials again. Pick it up on sale.

Fun game, put together well and generally bug free from my experience. The problem, for me at least, is the gameplay loop when you are in SP or only have a single buddy to run with as it just gets really boring. I generally hate pick up groups so that probably helps in that area having a four man team.

This isn't really a "I want to go play this every day for months" type of game but certain a good "I want to go run a few rounds every now and then" ... Devs are constantly updating, all the DLC is cosmetic-only and they just added seasons for free. Not a bad deal and can usually find it half off on sales.

Meh.

UI and controls are so awful playing it is a chore. It's slow, super grindy and bland but honestly the controls and UI are what did it in for me.

Pretty solid game if you like are in to the casual genre. This is basically Stardew Valley but dark. Gameplay is decent. It can be a little grindy tho I haven't really played a game in this genre that isn't. Story is ok but makes a lot more sense [and has a lot more depth] if you have the Stranger Sins DLC which I picked up same time as the game. It has a lot more backstory which helps tie everything together better.

Deep crafting and skill system. Lots of mechanics around how you run your graveyard, some are incredibly deep. Tons to do and never enough time in the day. Highly recommend.

Solid remake of one of my favorite series. The changes are fairly minor, graphics obviously being the biggest by far. I was kind of sad they did not add more QOL for ME1 as it *sorely* needs it. ME2-ME3 are far more enjoyable from a gameplay standpoint due to the QOL they added past the first one. But hey, whatever.

Games play well. They run well. They look good. Didn't run in to any bugs which is rare these days. Biggest win for an old Mass Effect vet like me? The DLC. I played each of the games when they first came out and was always moved on to another game by the time the DLC came out so I hadn't played any of it. While most game DLC is meh, the ones included in Legendary edition are actually generally pretty solid and add a lot to the game. If you haven't played the DLC that's almost worth price of admission.

I will note the games are fairly short, at least for RPGs and I had forgotten just how short that is. I had a total of 95 hours from start of ME1 to end of ME3 while doing all the side quests and whatnot. ME1 is shortest while ME3 is longest at around 35h. Your mileage may vary.

Fun game in [very] early access. About 20 hrs of content as of this writing with a big content dump a few days prior. Plays a lot like My Time at Portia, Stardew Valley, etc except there are no people really to deal with, no relationships, etc. Mostly right now it is the basics with more to come in the future content drops including an actual story.

Devs update pretty frequently but the game does have a significant amount of bugs from quests not turning in properly to serious FPS drops in areas as it is lacking a lot of optimization. Usual Early Access stuff.
