Coming from someone who's not a fan of roguelikes, this is a very fun and cute roguelike!
Sunk more hours into it on consoles than i can count - the co-op mechanics are very fun yet simple, you don't have to consciously think about what you're doing, you just gotta feel the flow of the game... unless you want to get good, in which case the skill/strat ceiling is way up high with the postgame modifiers.

A really great entry in the series!

I'm really enjoying the story, new artworks, new UI, it shows that the dev has grown and is very passionate about the series (something that REALLY makes them stand out in the hidden cats microgenre)
The quality of the art is outstandingly charming, the music and sound design fits well and is very pleasant (outside of an audio bug i noticed), the story is adorable, and the new features add an extra layer and flavor to the gameplay without making it complicated :)

The very few minor bug-hiccups I hope will get addressed by the devs, but overall it's a very cute and enjoyable game. Not "just a hidden cats game", but game overall :)
Absolute recommend for kids, or adults looking for a really fun and cute relaxing game.
