I've always wanted a "choose your own adventure," or "your choices do matter" type of game. Even though I attempted to find such, nothing really hit the bar for me. I was recommended to play this game by a few friends, and I don't regret my decision in giving it a chance.

I'm not someone who's ever played D&D, or even turn-based games. The game was slightly intimidating at first, and with help from friends, this became a must-have gem in my library.

The characters, dialogue, music, story, art, design, everything were A+. I love how easily immersed I became, because the game encourages you to stop and listen. Your choices do matter and can play a significant role in your outcome. You have all the power, and the game asks you: what will you do with it?

Larian Studios is also a great example of what a company should be: communicative, honest, innovative, and most of all- grateful. The fact that they went out their way (multiple) times to thank their consumers and audience, in a genuine manner, is something that these gaming dev studios need to take note of. They could've stopped with the original release- instead, they continue to update, listen to their consumers, and continuously express appreciation. Yes the game has some bugs, but Larian Studios makes me (and others) confident that they will always find ways to elevate Baldur's Gate 3 and their future endeavors. No surprise they won multiple awards, and I'm sure the title (and future projects) will follow suit, if they take note in what they achieved with BG3.

This is how you create and garner a committed, loyal and loving audience. Well done.
