After completing the main story, I can honestly say I'm disappointed in the amount of content in the game. The building upgrades are great, but the lack of diversity in vehicles, that fact that you can't "customize" any vehicles (or buy any that are customized) and the god-awfully designed negotiating functionality made the game "tolerable" to me. This could be an insanely good title, but instead, with these major flaws, it's just a time waster.

This is one of the best games I have ever played. I got sad when I ran out of side missions prior to the wedding, and 30 hours in, I progressed further and found out I am only about 1/4 of the way through the story. These devs are unbelievable. Pure fun.

Everything in this game - I repeat - everything in this game is solved via shooting cannons. This is ship warfare and nothing more. Customization isn't purely locked behind microtransactions, but most coveted items are. This is nothing like what was promised years ago. Combat is entertaining, but repetitive, and with no individual combat (only ships), it lacks the feeling you chase in conquest. The game went all in on details and missed most of the necessary gameplay. 4/10

There is just enough content here to keep me coming back, after waiting 9 years from release to purchase. The visuals are really good for a game almost a decade old. I am thoroughly enjoying this title and recommend it to people that like to grind for rewards and just roam open worlds with small goals in mind. I may be a bit biased as I typically enjoy apocalyptic open world games.

Great game, though 80% of my hours are waiting for the game to launch.

An exceptional zombie apocalypse survival simulator. This is everything you could want for the genre. The melee system is difficult to get the hang of, but once you do, the game is massive and so much fun. 10/10

I respect what they were trying to do, but I don't respect what they've done. "Realism" but headshots don't kill people. No real progression makes this title boring for me. It is what it is. Not a fan.

Lost in a what seems to be an endless maze of hallways, Upload hears the beeping of a landmine around some precarious corner. He has a Motorola 1st gen cell phone and an extremely rare and valuable laser pointer in each hand. He hasn't heard from his co-workers in minutes. It's his first day on the job and he has come to terms with the fact that it may also be his last. Suddenly, in front of him, he hears the pitter-patter of footsteps. "Prism?" He gasps as he takes a small step backward. No response but more footsteps. "A flashlight would have been smart." He says aloud into the darkness. He steps into the light of what seems to be the last remaining light in the building and sees a spider the size of a compact sedan. "AHHHHHHHHHH!" He screams in a tone he would be embarrassed to admit and high-tails it the opposite direction, running in the darkness, his feet clatter upon the metal cross-ways between hallways. Suddenly, a dead-end greets him in front. He turns and sees the spider coming closer and closer. There is a gap in the railing, and a support beam is bent in front of the gap, it entices him with it's sturdiness and awaits his graceful, athletic maneuver that may spare his life. At the last possible moment, he jumps onto the beam and leaps across to the other side...

The autopilot engages, closes the hydraulic doors and takes off empty, back to the company to pick up some fresh recruits.

This is a thorough and well-built auto battler. I'm thrilled with the game-play and depth of content.

Full of empty planets that remind me of No Man's Sky, lifeless dialogue, poor character facial animation, bugs at every turn, 15 year old combat AI, and loading screens that rob you of every chance at immersion, Starfield is a huge disappointment. The Bethesda loyalists will see only the positives, but the truth is we should truly expect more from AAA companies. I wanted so much to enjoy this game, but with freezes, desyncs and game breaking bugs everywhere, it's basically unplayable.
