I just got done writing a stellar review for a breakfast burrito I ordered at 2am. It was incredible, and I've implored everyone to order it so it stays on the menu. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for this game...

I'll give you this: For me, the game works. The sound is nostalgic, and it looks like it'll be an experience I would enjoy. The potential is there. That's all I can give you.

The negative, you already know. The changing the game to "Part 1" is a terrible look. I gave it my optimism initially, because it could have been an honest change. It COULD have been a planned two-part experience, but it doesn't appear to be. I watched the ending. I'll avoid spoilers, but it seems to just cut to black mid-scene for a last minute cliffhanger. There doesn't seem to be any conclusion to a story arc that would leave me feeling like I had a complete experience. This should not be acceptable. It is fraudulent. They sold one thing in pre-order, and delivered something else. Whereas I told everyone to purchase my favorite breakfast burrito so it would stay on the menu, I must tell everyone to not purchase this game because it should not be on the menu. Sadly, if you look at the studios store page, all of their games are 80-90% off right now. Wait for this game to be 80-90% off, or for them to fix the problem.

TLDR: If I had to choose to spend $40 on this game or on the breakfast burrito, I'd spend the $40 on the burrito.
