I don't really play story or narrative games much, I don't feel involved, but the main controls being blinking kept me playing the entire time as I'm sure was intended. I struggle a lot with focus and this hooked me. The game touches a very painful thing for me which is the inconsistency and blank spots in memory. Especially for people with CPTSD or other kinds of trauma, memory becomes an unreliable thing, memories forced away or altered. This game felt like that. It was really beautiful, and perfectly displays what games are good at doing, and putting you in control, to be the one to experience the story.

One of the worst "remasters" I've ever played. It feels like a downgraded port. 60fps, piss poor controller support, all the graphics options are the same, the game looks like garbage... THEY DIDN'T DO ANYTHING FOR THIS REMASTER

I feel like I'm playing battlefield bad company 2 again and it's so so sweet. Some things are still janky like I have no idea what the attachments are supposed to do, and the C4 has a mind of it's own, but the groundwork for this game is incredible. It has a lot of maps with a lot of destruction, and for now a very solid player base. The local chat is a very welcome thing to have as games have been silencing players from talking to each other so that's another bonus.

Anyways if you were looking for something to play and sink some hours into, this would be a much better purchase than most of the AAA crap coming out.

The dialogue is cringe but I think it adds to the charm, but also you can just keep doing your best to catch up to those insane runs

I need a hug

This game consistently made me cry most of the way through. I don't remember the last time a game effected me so deeply. It was so impactful that I beat the game in two days. I haven't beaten a long game that quickly in years, I haven't hardly beaten any games in years even. So when I say this game is special, it really is. It deals with themes and ideas that very few games dare to tread, or do it tastefully the way Omori does. 10/10 I'm going to get all the endings and achievements now.

Even in early access this game scratches most of my itch for this genre of games. Of course more maps and missions would be nice but what's available here is the skill ceiling really ensure you'll spend a lot of hours by yourself and with friends trying to perfect each of the scenarios.

The game is beautiful and the darkness is overwhelming in some cases which really inform how you play the game and how you prepare for each mission. I love the realistic lighting from the muzzles and how they're blinding for a split second and the dark nature of the game makes it really fun and interesting to navigate. I would like to see some outdoor daytime levels, or even normal levels during the day or specific time, that would make for even more replay and probably enable an "easier" mode for spotting enemies.

Equipping gear is a huge pain as you can't just press escape and edit your loadout for yourself or your team. You also have to manually edit each operator on your team before each mission which really takes too much time if i'm experimenting. There should be copy/paste option for the operators loadouts or at least don't make us walk over to these npc's in this Hub office world to edit our gear. Or again at least don't have important things spaced out so far like choosing attachments for your gun is far away from the start area.

The weapons and tools available are really fun and interesting to play with, there's so many that feel pretty good and sound really good as well. The guns are LOUD and all the effects are loud as well and scare me so much when they get triggered. My heart is racing by the time we've eliminated all the enemies but then after we kill everyone you have to spend 15 minutes back tracking and collecting evidence and making sure you radio civilians and deaths. That ending task is so boring and frustrating it keeps me from playing sometimes because I don't want to have to retrace my steps to that degree, or at least give a percentage of how close we are to completing the objective because I could've sworn that was the last civilian we had to radio in but no we missed a body hidden the corner we just never noticed. That's a real mood killer.

This game really does swat 4 excellently and it's so much fun to play with friends, but it really gets in it's own way when it comes to the momentum of enjoying this game. That ending looking for the last ran away civilian janky garbo ai is not a fun time at all.

Definitely an enjoyable experience but with some annoying and problematic design.

The movement is really cool and if you play for awhile you can get really good with it and feel like you're getting a lot of speed however certain parts of the game ruin the flow for me especially when it comes to accidentally magnetizing to certain parts of the terrain or in some case being too magnetized. After awhile you get used to it and can adapt but it's not fun at first, also the game throws new mechanics and enemies at you without properly introducing them and kind of blind siding you but you just brute force it and eventually you get it.

Also the upgrade path is kind of cool in concept but I really never bothered with a lot of the abilities, I wish they weren't there and there was just a focus on your base movement and attack, but I guess they're kind of like a handicap if you're really struggling with a certain arena.

The arenas are mostly cool but some of the new enemies you start to encounter are really just a pain, like the invincible enemies you have to parry and then kill, or the weird chicken walker things that shoot a lazer those are really not fun, also the shield enemies aren't very fun and slow down your general combat.

At 6 hours this is definitely one of those multi playthrough type games but I would've liked to have seen a new game plus mode with all of your abilities unlocked so you could experiment.

I had fun, and the price is very fair for the game and experience, 7.5/10

Feels fantastic and fills the gap left by max payne 3 for me. Just wish it was a bit longer and a bit less janky but great fun!

This game is one of the worst pieces of ♥♥♥♥ I've played. It is absolutely horrible compared to Resident Evil (Insert title) And you should not waste 10 hours playing this with a friend or by yourself. The only redeeming factor is the death animations when you ♥♥♥♥ up the stupid QTE in the cutscenes because of course this game has that.

Amazing feeling running and in depth gameplay. Much better than mirrors edge for just running around!
