This game is a curious case. I though we were all tired of remakes/reboots. Guess not. That being said, this is a good remake of a classic by EA. Surprising, considering EA went all into multiplayer and micro transactions in the past. Visuals, sound are all great. Story is pretty much intact, with some additional content already included in the game. My only complaint is the optimization for PC. I have a pretty good rig and can play all types of games. However, you will notice some stuttering and lag at some points in the game. This seems to be a common problem on any type of machine. Disabling some of the graphical settings helps, but not completely. Its not game breaking, but can be annoying some times.

Not for casual players. It has a steep learning curve and a lot of patience is needed. This game is for serious sim racing with a wheel/pedal set. Very limited, barely functional controller support. I already knew some of this going into the game. The biggest issue I have is how expensive it is. The subscription mostly just gets you through the door. There are some base cars and tracks that are included with the subscription, but its all just to get you started. Between the monthly subscription and purchases, you are probably looking at a couple of hundred bucks just in your first year of racing. The graphics look dated, around early 2010's, which I found surprising considering the amount of money being poured into this. More power to you if this is your thing. I just can't possibly recommend this based on its business practices, limited options and dated graphics.

Pricey, but great table.
I played the real table a couple of weeks ago at a local arcade, and this is as close you will get to the real thing. Sound quality is great, and recommend to play with head phones to hear all the little audio details.

One of the first games I played on the ps4 years ago. Still holds up as one of the most terrifying games of all time. Graphics and art design are absolutely beautiful. All that being said, it's the audio where the game truly excels. Using headphones are a must. Really enhances the mood and game play. If your a fan of the dead space and outlast series, you will absolutely love this.

Early Access Review
My wife has been trying to get me to pressure wash the driveway for weeks. She caught me playing this yesterday. Still playing.

Who new a game with so much poop can be this addicting. A bit challenging and stop playing out of frustration, but the poop calls out to you for more punishment.

This is specifically for the Steam version. Max Payne is a great game, but this version is absolutely not playable. A whole list of compatibility issues, ranging from the game just not starting properly, to sound issues. The only way to play this version is by downloading and applying multiple fixes from third party sources, and its still no guarantee that the game will function. Managed to fix the startup and sound issues, but could not resolve the Jpeg errors which would always eventually crash the game. I eventually just gave up.
Max Payne is a great game, but I cannot honestly recommend this version.
Be warned. If you do purchase this version, it will not work right after downloading. You have to do some research and apply multiple fixes to even get it to the start screen.

A decent western themed FPS. Game play is pretty good, but can be repetitive. It s a linear experience, basically re-living an old gunslingers life facing other famous gunslingers. Overall, its short and sweet, but it all has a nice presentation. The only criticism is the one on one dueling mechanic. Its a bit confusing and I never really got the hang of it. Thankfully, you only deal with it a couple of times.

I am hesitating on recommending Doom 2. I love the first doom, doom 3, doom 2016 and the latest doom eternal. This game, however, is my least favorite. I know, thats blasphemy, but can't help the way I feel about it. All the ingredients are there. Game play, graphics, controls all there. However, the level designs are just too convoluted for my tastes, especially in the second half. Doom games have always had a little bit of a maze like levels to explore, but this game took that mechanic and raised it to 11. I spent more time figuring out how to even complete the level rather than the traditional run and shoot. I didn't like the game overall, but I can admit that many doom fans will still love this game.

Demons everywhere, get the shotgun, you will go YAY. Where is the blue keycard? where is the red keycard? where is the yellow keycard? Its over there by the hordes of demons blocking your way to the exit. Why are there so many exits? Why are there so many secrets? Just want to go home.
Sure, why not...
