I solidly understand that this game was made for casual players, but c'mon, I desire to have a much harder difficulty...

Fantastic!

However, the game felt like a completely rethought Alice: Madness Returns

It features genuine gameplay mechanics with interesting card games.

Pros:

✅ Amazing art style
✅ Fantastic story
✅ Great characters and voice acting
✅ Enjoyable fights

Cons:

❌ No manual graphics settings
❌ Dialogue variations change nothing except for some puzzle-related ones
❌ Queen’s boss fight was not a satisfying ending
❌ While the Queen’s shadow could still haunt me in the Dice Dimension, the Queen and evil sister can’t

Mixed of Borderlands and Fallout… was it their true child?

The game started amazingly interesting and cool…
but unfortunately, it couldn’t keep up with the intro’s flow or guide the player properly in exploring this world.
The file size is huge for what the game offers, with many reused elements.
Perk points feel less useful than the action-based systems that wants take away under the name of “negative balance.”
Normal mode is basically EASY mode, not truly “normal”!

The game is short, and you never really feel where you are in the completion timeline. Combat was okay (?), but the story and the companions were the lovely parts — that’s what really caught me!

The ending was great, and there were numerous mid-game moments that were top-notch, but somehow there’s still this feeling of something missing.

The game crashed sometimes, but thanks to autosaves I lost nothing. Interior and world-building could be improved.

8/10 — A great one-time journey!

AWESOME

Good multi game with friend(s).
NPC's are on the point, giving the game a better vibe.
It didn't disappointed me. Maybe it could have been a little more causal.

New weapons, island and little things to discover was much better, however it delivered a different vibe and atmosphere then the first game. It was much more of a fun, then a nightmare!

Sadly, very, very short...

I liked the fact that you can choose to be a dog and bark — I had to start a new game because I didn’t expect it to be that annoying to constantly hear dog sounds.

Plus points++ for photo mode! The "bad part" is that it creates near-raw, high-res photos outside of Steam’s built-in screenshot system, so it’s harder to share them via Steam.

The overwhelming curiosity is what drives you to explore — that’s why getting fully prepared with fuel sources might not be the best idea after finishing the main questline.

Great parkour game

Videos

The ads are funny, but the in-universe company video messages totally break the atmosphere…

10/6 BECAUSE IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN LONGER! At least 3 boss fights — c’mon!

10/3 maximum.

bumm bumm bumm and 4000 shield and 4000 health go down on a single shot from every side from dead enemies ,why even leveling up then? So annyoing, it's not hard, it's annoying. I killed Jack in barely 2 second and killed the boss with no problem, but can't kill 3 Hyperion robot because they shooting plasma and everything...

The story, side missions was way better then how BL1 was.
The driving forced to use mouse instead of AWSD, still gives me huge ick.
Maps, landscapes not even good to look at, so it's just a mass shooting game, where some rat steals your loot.

Half of the upgrades meant for multiplayer, why is it so nescessary to force that way.

Poor claptrap. Happy Birthday!

Sleeping Dogs aka GTA: HONG KONG

How was it?
The game focuses mainly on the main storyline; side quests don’t add much to either the narrative or the gameplay. Forced cutscenes and sudden teleportations limit the player’s ability to freely explore the world.

There are some nice small details and well-handled events, but the experience is too linear and scripted to allow for meaningful alternate approaches or outcomes.

The story progresses quickly, leaving little room for proper character development.

However, the story was great!
The city, along with the mafia groups and their internal conflict, provides a compelling narrative.
You also get a taste of Hong Kong and its unique Asian lifestyle along the way.
Collectibles feel like a waste of time — not really worth the effort.

Gameplay
The game is mostly about driving and fighting. You need to collect your master's lost statues to learn new skills — I really liked that! You can even partially customize the HUD to make it more immersive.

GPS navigation often isn’t very helpful and tends to reroute too quickly.

The fighting is cool, but not the kind that makes you feel like the ultimate badass. Somehow, it didn’t grab me that much.

I also missed having more date storylines with Amanda.

So is it a 10/10? Almost!

A true game, almost near perfection! 9.9–10/10

The story [no spoiler]
It was one of the best. All the factions, the wasteland – it was quite impressive
and a joy to explore! You get your lovely friends and characters all across the map.

But your best friend will always be Quick Save...

Gameplay
Side quests are highly recommended to get the full taste of the story and the world.
NPCs acknowledge you during the game based on your actions, which makes the world feel alive!
The combat system is typical Fallout-style, so if you're not familiar with it or into it, you might hate it.

The map itself is clean, the environmental and area design is perspective-focused, but sometimes
there’s a lack of smaller details.

Just one little mistake
I managed to reach level 29 with positive karma, even though the whole reputation system felt a bit off.
It's bad to pickpocket a murderer or a thief, but it's okay to slaughter him unexpectedly and
loot his body. And so on, with similar cases... Who understands this?

Who do I recommend this to?
Well, this is not for everybody, of course.
Although the game features a variety of difficulty levels and playstyles, still,
if you don't enjoy slow gameplay with politics, then this is not for you!

But if you're looking for an amazing experience in an open-world game, you can't miss this one!
