Early Access Review
So far, even more than we could have hoped.
Encourages thorough exploration, and on high difficulty, requires you to scavenge for items and pick your approach carefully. Incredible atmosphere, interactivity and stellar music and voice work.
Who cares if it's early access? This is a better experience for 10 pounds than most games that cost 60.

First half of Judgment: B-
Second half: A+

Seriously, this game isn't the best of the best when it comes to RGG Studio's output, with mechanics such as the tailing wearing out their welcome real quick, but Judgment benefits from a great cast of characters throughout, a truly loathsome villain, and a second half that takes the training wheels off and just goes freakin' nuts.

It's got some of my favourite moments in any RGG game, and a lot of that has to do with the main pair of characters. Yagami and Kaito both bring their own great flavour to proceedings within the oh so familiar streets of Kamourocho, and though only Yagami is playable throughout the story, Kaito immediately takes a head seat within the council of ABSOLUTE HOMIES.

Great game, in spite of a few little issues. From chapter 8 onwards, I don't think the grin left my face for a second.

This remaster is much appreciated, not only does it allow people to play the great Quake II without all kinds of nonsense to get in the way, but it proves one irrefutable truth once and for all.

Quake II on the N64 was the best campaign of Quake II you could possibly play, and being able to play it in high def just proves it over and over again.

N64 Quake II. My Beloved.

Haven't been into this many dark and deep holes since my days in the Vatican.

10/10, if you don't rock and stone you're dead to me.

Overall, Sniper Elite 5 is exactly what I wanted from a sequel to possibly the best open world Nazi mincemeat simulator ever. It's not perfect, missing some key features and some of the perfect level design of 4, but Sniper Elite 5's additions, such as Axis Invasion, more than make up for it. When all the pieces come together, Sniper Elite 5 is simply a satisfying blast through some great levels, with the same great X-Ray Cam destruction.

The real F.E.A.R 2

I've been playing Trepang2 in some form or another in demos and whatnot for years, and now it's here, I have but one thing to say.

I've played 2 missions, and this game already makes me so rock ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard I could drill a hole through the core of the earth with what Trepang2 has given me. There's nothing quite like slide kicking a guy so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard he flips over backwards before unloading a shotgun straight into him and turning him into vaguely red paste. Insanely based.

Yakuza 6
Or: How I learned to stop worrying and love the violence.

What a send off for one of the greatest protagonists in video game history.

Yakuza has always been a story about the bonds of family and friendship above all else, but Yakuza 6 is, more than anything else, a story about Fatherhood.

Brilliant game, takes it's time to open up, but once the fists start flying, I was having a blast.

Props to the game for making the final villain an irredeemable ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with no chance of redemption too, reeeeeeeally made unleashing Kiryu's old man rage one last time extra satisfying.
