Disregarding all of the jankiness, The Sims 3 is, in my opinion, the best game in the franchise. It was way ahead of its time. I am doing the lepacy challenge, and even with just the base game, I had tonnes of fun, and I'm having even more fun with the expansion packs.

If you're tired of The Sims 4 or want something different from The Sims 2 while keeping the latter's charm, try this game out. It needs some TLC to play in 2025, but it's a great life simulator game at its core.

Buy it only if it's on sale, though.

Left 4 Dead 2 will forever remain one of my all-time favourites, and the one game I always come back to. For my 9-year-old self back in 2009, the graphics seemed mind-blowingly realistic. I'm biased, but I believe they still hold up well.

I adore the main characters, the storytelling is subtle but deep, and the gameplay is fast-paced and fun, whether playing solo or with friends. 10/10.

A lovely game full of charm, intrigue, and unsettlement.
