As more of a fan of CTR-style kart racers than Mario Kart, there's a lot to like here (especially with the substantial catalog of mods). A few aspects are still buggy, for example the racer customization menu, but the racing itself feels fantastic and the original tracks that I've played are substantial. There definitely seems to be a promisingly high skill ceiling, and the mod support in particular make this one to watch (for the sake of argument, let's say they're all public-domain characters like Steamboat Willie and Popeye).

Very, very good mystery scenarios that tell a larger story. Like the first game, the player has no diegetic presence in the story, and is a sort of limited-omniscient observer who examines moments in time to try and sort out what happened leading up to each moment. Besides allowing for solid, innovative gameplay, this also gives each scenario a sense of dramatic irony, since the player is often the only one who has all the pieces of the story, and some cases are oddly moving for the player alone, in a way that I've never quite seen a game manage before.

Also, fantastic music and worldbuilding. Hard to recommend this (and the DLC so far) enough.

Pretty fun, works well enough as a standalone game. The base mode is probably the best, but the speed version is a close second.

A well-made rerelease and a lot of fun to play. I had a bit of trouble with controller recognition on Steam Deck, but it worked with a Dualshock 4. Added emulation features like infinite lives and rewinding are welcome too, plus it includes the original game (just not the Game Boy port, sadly). Recommended on sale.

More than just a parody, this is a genuinely fun (and funny!) 2D stealth game with an entertaining story, varied boss fights, and golden-age-era-Lucasarts-esque puzzles. The music and character artwork are also very solid (if you will), and there's even added replay value in the form of story choices that let you determine which gameplay mechanics a level uses. Some puzzles are intentionally obtuse and require a few deaths to go through, but the checkpoints are usually generous enough that it doesn't matter. Recommended!

Somehow they pulled it off - a roguelike that simultaneously has a really great story and tons of replayability, while never feeling unsatisfying or cheap. I played a little back in Early Access and can confirm that the final product is incredibly polished and fun. Note that a controller is recommended.
