Very fun game! The drawing mechanic is really creative, and is executed SO well. The art classes really work your creative muscles, and it was really fun focusing on coloring the various areas in the game (Well, one screen, and not any of the others LOL)

100%ing the game was also pretty fun, the only gripe being finding every single item. The good thing is, you don't need to worry about finding one specific item to dress up your character, thanks to the swap shop. (I want to give the guy who made that a big thank you, it's SO cool.)

The only real criticism I have about this game is that the postgame does NOT exist, you just kinda bum around after, which really sucks, because I'd love to see more of Chicory's character development, especially with how they put focus on Blackberry towards the end of the game.

This game is pretty fun, it's got a lot of things to collect, but you only really need to get a fraction of them to progress.

As for getting 100%, it's also pretty simple, just time-consuming. If you spend a bit of time in advance planning out how to get every item, crop, etc. (I highly recommend doing this after you've first checked your completion %.) It can be REALLY shortened down.

Overall, pretty fun game when there's something to do.

Now that I've beaten all the levels this game has to offer (As of 4/28/2024), I can say with confidence that ULTRAKILL is an amazing game.

The gameplay is your standard "kill bad guy, move to next room, kill more, get a little bit of the lore while you're at it" but it takes it to a whole 'nother level. Almost every gun synergizes with 2-3 other guns/variants, and there's plenty of interactions in the game to each gun. (ex: Electric Railgun in water deals a TON of damage to anything also in water, but damages you for a lot as well, shooting a Core Eject with a Malicious Railgun makes a MASSIVE explosion, etc.) Pair this with the art style of the game, it works really well with the music. Nothing feels out of place, and the low-poly models are really charming. I love how there's a mix of 2D textures sprinkled in these 3D environments too.

Fun premise, was gifted by friend, movement feels a bit jank but other than that its pretty chill.

Unlike some people, i got to see the wreckage of a massive man-made body.

I've only played a little of this game so far, but it's pretty fun!

Some parts of the gameplay are really cool, I love that rockets explode upon contact with other explosions, as it makes it a challenge to find wheres the right placement to handle every enemy, and the sprites are pretty nice.

But, it could use a few tweaks, like making the same upgrade appear only once, or by making a small area around the main base where rockets aren't affected by explosions (as multiple times i'd get stuck for a bit firing rockets into rocket explosions)

Overall, this is a simple, yet fun game that quickly evolves into a complex and frantic fight to keep buildings alive.
