Early Access Review
Until game let player pause and fast-forward gameplay at will, i'm can't recommend game. Sorry, Developer.
Thing is with each tier game gets more complex, me is compentent in this game genre, not a pro but at least my brain does not overheat from this unlike potential players who almost did not played Factorio and similar games.
For other games not having opportunity to control time is okay because they do not have same intensity as Tower Factory does.

Second complaint, heavy meta-progression reliance. Would be nice add more roguelite elements during playthrough which may mix up how player approaches to completing the mission.
For example maybe "Gathering by Hand" modifiers which can be found as scrolls with effect lasting until win or demise?
Or side-quest which maybe give Buff or affect power curve of Dark Tower for a time.

I'm believe your game have potential to be good, don't give up :)

In short: Beatuful 2,5D (Isometric), Souls-like with great taste at balance. Take it for few game sessions, if actually like "play games". Oh yeah also great attention to sound - just don't forget check out ceramic surfaces.

Longer:
Aside of unusual cartoony graphic, which beloved these days, alot of games abuse colors and often i see acid execution which is bad for my taste - and Death's Door is an exeption of that what is awesome. Mix of few colored levels such in Hub/Lobby location along with actual world as a collection of soft colors without overusing. A song to eyes;
Balance topic - for me, orignal inspiration for developers, too sweat & confusing to play - and talking i'm about From Software games. Acid Nerve by picking different dimension & reducing elements to interact such as massive inventory consting dozen of potions, weapons which may get outdated by going deeper into game feels unpleasant, which not the case in Death's Door, allows a try different play styles with lesser effort - a main argument to try the game.


What is "Souls-like": These kind of games very infused with ideas of Dark Souls (at Steam) or Demon's Souls (only PS, was first) which persist of three main rules: Backtracking w/ Hub as Teleport Network; Exploration with semi-linear world; Intense fighst which difficulty could be decreased by Leveling Up. Though Death's Door removes from equalisation a progress loss at two deaths in row to level up which is frustrating thing at these games.

As always Devolver Digital knows which guys need help. Welp sometimes mess up *looks at "Hatred", but i guess at that stage company needed some hype to build name, so nevermind.
Since game still in walkthrough progress by me, for now i won't say it goes in my 10/10 list which persist of usually unique projects, but strong above middle.

Amazing remake as it should be. On same level like Resident Evil 2 Remake
Also they added multiplayer some reason... but okay.

Game feels like "clicker", but in same time it isn't;
Has simple story, which can make few times laugh;
Nice soundtrack which also helps finish game in every moment.

Появился какой-то КОДЕКС и изнасиловал всю группу.

10/10 - демонстрация таскания пленных.

Ну а если серьезно:
Данная игра представляет из себя наверно технодемку микшеную с предысторией грядущей игры, возможно если-бы я не поиграл в Ground Zeroes - хрен понял-бы почему, что, как в Phantom Pain. Хотя думаю что в основной игре предысторию тоже добавят.

Плюсы:
Отличнейшая оптимизация
Увлекающий Геймплей (об этом ниже)
Хороший перевод субтитров на русском
(С огрехами в начале, но спохватились и исправили что не многие делают #ред. 25 авг. 2015)

Минусы:
Длительность (1 ч. сюжета + 5-20 в зависимости от вашей расторопности)
(ред. Пройдены все миссии за 7-10 ч. как стелс не торопя, так и с макс. оценкой S)

О геймлее:
Он завораживает, жанр стелс мне любим от обычной дворовой игры "Прятки" и тут с ним все в порядке в отличии от лаго-ток Payday 2, однако игра настроена не только на то чтобы прятать свою шкуру - можно Штурмовать противников или убивать крайне оригинальным способом или морально убить, опуская о более оригинальных способах уборки врагов. (аля. под Шансон давить всех фурой)

О оптимизации:
Fox Engine вещь шикарная, когда перед покупкой я смотрел Системные Требования в коих приписано GTX 650, просто ложь! В моем пк трудится предтоповое решение семеиства 500 GeForce и при ВЫСОКИХ Настройках FPS не опускается с 60 НИ НА КАДР, однако Максимальные увы не вытянула и давала просадки в 3-5 кадров, но это уже отличный результат!

Я рекомендую, но не вздумайте покупать отдельно! Воспользуйтесь "щедростью издателя" и предзакажите с основной игрой - без = ~600р. на ветер
