Svarog's Dream is quickly becoming one of my favorite ARPGs. It has some (a lot of) jank and the UI looks disheartening at first, but it also offers a lot of depth and fun gameplay systems for you to explore.

If you can stomache some jank in favor of interesting gameplay and freedom of exploration, it's a must buy.

Plays like a very shallow and boring mobile game. UI is very strange and simplistic, gameplay is trivial and I fail to find all the depth and immersion the game was hyped for...

Oh and there is a big fat paywall.

A bit overwhelming at first, but tuning cars and free-roaming alone is lots of fun.

The default maps and cars offer a lot of variety. There are plenty of interesting tracks and roads, great for track racing, even better for rally and off-roading.

And then there are gazillion of mods that take any aspect of the game even farther, if you need that.

Rutabaga!!!

Still needs some balancing and polishing, but already is a lot of fun.

The one thing I am really missing are more options to manage your family: You can control only one settlement, and the amount of lords / family members you can have in your settlement is very limited.

Best modern NFS game:
- No live-service, micro-transaction FOMO BS
- Enough cars and tuning options
- You can freely change beween day and nigt time and just do what you want, whenever you want, wherever you want
- Best vibes 8)

PS: Played on origin, before purchasing it again on steam, so my playtime is way higher than steam shows.

Hammerwatch II definitely does not deserve the bad reviews.

There might have been some issues at launch, and some (a lot of) people were expecting a different game.

I very much enjoyed the Demo and got exactly what I wanted: a great, somewhat old schoolish action RPG with lots to explore and try out. I am very glad this is not yet another "rogue-like".

The pixel art is beautiful, lighting and sound effects are awesome, the music is great and gameplay with the classes I tried so far (wizard and paladin) is a lot of fun.

I was hesitant to buy the game, due to poor reviews. But once I did, I experienced no bugs or issues whatsoever. I installed the fast travel mod, and while not necessary, it removes some backtracking and potential annoyances and increases the fun of dungeon delving by 300%.

UI and controls are a bit weird, but I grew up playing games with worse controls. Once you get used to it, its no issue any more. There is a death penalty and respecs cost money, but if you play a while, money becomes a non-issue.

TL;DR: Great game, worth buying, especially on sale.
