Not bad. Plays like Katamari but with a Mouse. Easy to play, and fairly short. Cute story as well. Easy and fun to go back and get all the achievements.

Cute story - not just romance, also a dash of day-in-the-life and a pinch of suspense/mystery!!
Length of time: short/casual
Main Storyline: 9/10 intriguing, inspiring what-ifs and fanfic ideas
Controls: 8/10 functional, intuitive, no easy "undo" option besides saving before a choice
Route Stories: 10/10; favorites (in order) Hayes, Mason, Graves
Overall score: 9.5/10

Setup/Tutorial: 9/10
Strategy: 10/10, the Long Game matters
Replay Value: 11/10
Difficulty: Fairly easy, but not the easiest
Overall score: 10/10, five stars, etc. Stellar!

What an odd, addicting game! You play as a Chinese child growing up from infancy to graduating high school. Your cumulative choices add up to your score on the GaoKao, the SAT/ACT in China. Your score also determines which university you went to, whether you got the job of your dreams, and how much allowance your future child can earn. Then you get to (possibly) marry your high school sweetheart and play as your own child, from infancy to GaoKao, and on and on. Every play through becomes easier due to "genes" being passed down through each subsequent generation. You can use that boost to pursue different career paths, or to try to master one career path in particular. I would definitely recommend to anyone who likes playing cumulative completionist games. Using a guide once you are 2 or 3 generations in is a must. Good luck finding all the careers and mastering the GaoKao. You're going to need it!

Gameplay: 8/10
Storyline: 9/10
Tutorial: 6/10

Gameplay: Very nice take on turn-based games, where "travelling" takes daylight. Controls are customizable. My only wish is that "travelling" didn't take so much daylight, but that would make the story mode a lot easier to win.
Storyline: Intriguing! What a delight for an avid adventure reader. Prepare to suspend disbelief to figure out why you are lost in the wilds. *Note... I do not yet know the ending.
Tutorial: Helpful at first, especially for the controls. Not very helpful to explaining your quest or discerning things that will kill you vs things that will help you. Death comes very quickly, so beware!

Words for Evil: a scrabble game with pixel graphics and quick 10-second "battles."
Overall Rating: 8/10
Even though scrabble games are not my cup of tea, I would definitely recommend this one. Since its exchanges are so fast, the beginning stages are easy (with a high enough typing speed) and encouraging. The reward is high and the risk is low - perfect for newbies to wordplay type games. Gameplay is smooth and the game can be left open and walked away from between battles, which makes this game perfect for playing in short bursts (using it as a reward between homework or as a time-filler when cooking).

I wasn't able to play this game for a long time due to computer specs. After finally getting a low-tier gaming pc, this game is quite fun. Just triple check your computer specs before getting it.

The story is cute, the gameplay is smooth, and the two blend seamlessly. Beautiful.

Excellent typing game! Better than TyperShark.

Simple & elegant - this game follows the age-honored engineering rule of simplicity. The rules are simple: type to win. The first time I started playing, I burst out into uncontrollable laughter - this game is so simple, yet still fun! Kinda like swordfighting with wrapping paper cardboard. Simple. Satisfying.

Offers many different modes for different styles of players - and every mode comes in player vs. computer or player vs. player. "Easy" mode is not a limiter for fast typists. I would definitely recommend as a school typing game for players of any age, or anyone who wants to up their typing speed - especially those who know where the letters are but who haven't memorized and figured out muscle memory yet.

I give it 11/10!

Early Access Review
Rise to Ruins - a tower defense game that also includes survival strategy and a bit of village sim. I would highly recommend for casual players - played at regular speed, this game is perfect for background strategy while you do something else - play a turn-based, watch a show, reply in a forum, ect. For more intense players, there are harder difficulty settings, plus the speed can be set higher so that your decisions need to be made fast.
