I played in both closed betas as well as the open beta, clocking in around 300 hours of gameplay.

Regarding the game itself:
- The game was intense in terms of movement, but this wasn't planned by the developers. Each update reduces the movement options and slows down the game's pace. If you liked the movement in TitanFall, it's gone. If you appreciated the speed of Quake, that's behind us too. It's baffling how the developers thought a jump pad that reduces momentum was a good idea.
- The weapons are riddled with Spread, random RNG, and the difference between hipfire and ADS makes gunfights unreadable.
- The balancing is non-existent, and the developers seem clueless about patching. A dominating meta of Double Medium + 1 Heavy was already present in the beta and at release, and they decided to buff the medium class and nerf the others significantly. The competitive meta is now 3 mediums. Other classes are not viable.
- The presence of several anti-competitive mechanics and features that neglect skill (like wallhack on CD with toggle on/off, for example).

Regarding quality of life:
- An indecent number of cheaters are present. Not even subtle cheats (one-tap through walls, infinite bullets, etc...), and these players are encountered in several consecutive games. The Top 50 is filled with players using anti-recoil scripts and aim-assist on KBM.
- No customizable crosshair despite the game being hard to read. Monitor crosshairs are a bannable offense, as stated by the developers.

Regarding eSport :
- No matchmaking in competitive play. Even being high in platinum, you're teamed up with players who just unlocked competitive play, and you're pitted against the Top 10 tri-stack.
- No esports motivation within the team: no custom games, and they are not planned in the development timeline. So, no custom games = no tournaments or scrims. No competition at all.

In short, if you like competitive FPS games, look elsewhere.

Sadly, the game is heading in the same direction as Hyper Scape, which had similar potential and will likely meet the same fate: server shutdown before the game's first anniversary.
