I agonised over making the right choices at every single turn, only to find out that I was trying to grasp at a good ending that never existed. I don't think I can describe just how much I despise this both as a game and as a story.

Some of the things that disgusted me are, but not limited to:
- The fact you are forced into a role of a beta cuck.
- The fact that game shoves you down a single unavoidable bad end.
- The non-relatable dialogue options of which I will never say personally.
- How much you (as the character) and Emily both deserve to be smacked.

Although it's really short (around 1h at most), the gameplay is very primitive and there is nothing to gained from playing it. You will just be left with a very bitter taste in your mouth because the game made you feel like you piloted a character who eventually ruined his own life, while in actuality you never had a choice to begin with. 0/10 would never recommend.

Trine is a story-telling puzzle and platformer game that I enjoyed very much in the gameplay and coop aspect. While I want to give this game my whole-hearted recommendation, I had to hesitate because I found that the game failed in the story-telling department. The first thing you notice when you start the game is the stunningly beautiful graphics which help set up this mystical atmosphere that just makes you eager to play the game. Because of that, I also grew a high expectation from the story. Sadly, as you progress through the game you start to realise that the story is almost... non-existent, in addition to a very anti-climatic and disappointing finale. I will say though, that at least the puzzles and platforming provided a decent challenge and that it was overall a pretty fun game.

So the question is, is the game worth buying? Yes, but not at the full price. It's definitely something worth trying if you like platforming and/or playing a good coop game with friends.

SS3 is a fun co-op shooter that offers a good challenge and a good humour. The campaign is executed really well with hilarious dialogues and cutscenes, and the boss battles are definitely epic, just like how it should be. While the gameplay can get rather repetitive after a while, it is pretty a fun game to play with friends for all who enjoy shredding a bunch of aliens with either your bare hands or a bunch of overly flashy and explosive weapons.

A solid 7/10, would recommend.

Rocket League is a game given to me by a friend which I initially thought a pretty cool-looking competitive racing game. While the game was fun for a couple of rounds - the controls are quite fluid, and the graphics are indeed very impressive, but the thrill and complexity of the game can only ever get so far when all you're doing is hitting a ball with a car over and over again. It definitely calls for some sort of exciting new game mode, which the game doesn't have quite yet.

Do I think this game is worth its retail price at this stage? Personally I'd only buy it if it's at least $5 or below. There are better competitive games out there that are FREE, that mainly earn their revenue from skins and other cosmetics, which is exactly the type of revenue model that I'd expect from this type of game.

Dust: An Elysian Tail is an amazing hack-and-slash game with a similarly amazing storyline. From the moment I saw the title screen, I knew that the game was going to be spectacular, and I am still yet impressed with how well they handled the introduction of your mysterious protagonist, how well the tutorial phase was blended into the story progression, and especially with how fluid the controls are - chaining combos with over-the-top visual effects has never felt better! Even then, as I progresssed through the game I keep falling more and more in love with the game... the story, and the characters - you can just feel the emotions coming through as if you were right there with Dust and Fidget.

Overall, the tale of Dust has been one of the best hack-and-slash storytelling experience for me, and while I will omit spoilers, I will say that the final boss battle is definitely an epic battle you'd have to look forward to!

10/10 would recommend!

Eternal Senia is a game about a girl who ventures into a mysterious tower to seek out her lost sister. At the beginning, I thought the premise was fairly standard and that this is just your typical RPGmaker game. I gave it a shot anyway, since it was free and the art seems relatively decent, but boy how quickly my impressions change. I couldn't stop playing the game, wanting to know more about the story, and I started noticing just how beautifully intertwined the story, the gameplay and the music are. Without spoiling anything, all I can say is that this is one of the most tear-jerking story-rich game I've ever played through. My only qualm with this game is that it isn't receiving the recognition and attention that it deserves.

10/10 would pay for part 2, or any future games by this developer.
P.S. I just want to thank the creator for making this game (for free!) and for making the easter egg room.

I started with Harvey's New Eyes, which I quite enjoyed, before playing the Breakout shortly after. Sadly, I feel like E&H:TB pales slightly in comparison to HNY and the major bug I encountered in this game just made me unable to give this game my recommendation.

My review of the game so far though, is that you are stuck in one (uninteresting) venue for far too long. I missed the thrill for adventure that I felt in HNY where I got to explore different and interesting places. I also felt like there is a lack of humour in this game compared to HNY, and the jokes that are there are quite dry. The puzzles are still relatively enjoyable, but there are definitely other areas that this game can improve on.

Lastly, I don't usually complain about small bugs within a game here and there, but I've had COUNTLESS crashes midgame before finally encountering a major bug where I simply cannot continue the game. For a game that I would rate as mediocre, this flaw simply ruined any enjoyment I had with this game.

As much as I would like to recommend this, I'd have to say The Breakout has been quite a disappointing experience compared to the developers' other works like Deponia. Check it out if you got this game for cheap but otherwise would not suggest buying it at retail price.

P.s. if you're curious about where I left the game, it was at the guard monitor puzzle in which you have to spell WC on the screen. I did what I was supposed to do, but the game wouldn't let me progress and I couldn't do anything about it

Fairy Bloom Freesia is an incredible 2D fighting games with very beautiful graphics and extremely fluid motions with easy-to-learn controls. I haven't ever had this much fun button mashing ever since playing Tekken with friends. If there is one thing this game is lacking, it's probably a good story. I mean, the story IS there, but it's just prominent enough. We don't get to know any character very well, besides maybe Freesia, but even then we still don't really know much about her origins. Even so, I still really enjoyed the game. It provided a good challenge, and in my opinion, it really nailed every other aspects of what makes a game fun. Would recommend 8/10

This game is, so, much, FUN! I rarely find a game with a good balance of story, graphics, gameplay and music, but Bastion has nailed every one of these aspects. I love the wide variety of weapons and the unique way to use each of them. You won't ever feel like any two weapons are similar, so you'll end up wanting to use all of them even though you can only hold 2 at a time. The story and adventure... I have never played a game told through a narrative story-telling and enjoyed it, but this one does it right, and there is a certain charm to the comic-like graphics.

I wasn't sure whether to recommend this game or not, but after a lot of thinking, I think I will recommend it afterall. I played E&H:HNY soon after I finished the Deponia series, which I loved a LOT, and I honestly have to say that I was slightly disappointed due to my high expectations of this game. That doesn't mean the game is bad. I just think it's not as enjoyable as the Deponia series, but it is still enjoyable in a different way nonetheless.

There was a sense of humour that doesn't click with me in E&H:HNY compared to Deponia. I find the MC in Deponia humourous because he is doing evil intentionally, because of his mischievous nature. The MC of this game is just an innocent little girl who... (trying very hard to omit spoilers)... cause disasters while having zero bad intentions, which ultimately ends up in a pile of regret for both the MC and myself as the player, and I personally fail to see the humour in that. I can say though, that the adventure was quite fun as and that there were a lot of enjoyable and interesting puzzles and mini-games.

All in all, if you like puzzles and you like adventures, I think that this game is worth trying if you can manage to get it in a bundle or on a discount, but personally it's not something I'd pay for at the retail price.
