Stardew Valley is literally Harvest Moon and I love Harvest Moon!! You play as a previously overworked corporate slave moving into the countryside to start a farm life and you get to basically build your dream life by growing weeds crops, making your own petting zoo, ironically being forced to interact with people, buying a house and finally marrying your ideal guy/gal (you can swing either way, so hurray for gender equality). The map is decently big, and in case that doesn't filll your exploration needs there are also caves and dungeons where you can fight mine gems, fight monsters and discover surprises. The content of this game is huuuuge, the stories are nice and heartwarming, and the music is beautifully reminiscent of Harvest Moon games!

Enjoying every hour I've spent on this game and more in the future, would recommend 10/10

I honestly don't understand why so many people put down this game as "bad" or "pay to win". Heavenstrike Rivals is originally a mobile game that's been ported onto Steam, so yes of course it's going to have those grindy elements of a standard mobile game with stamina, collecting units etc. In saying that, this is one of the better ones with actual tactical elements to it, not just some mindless battles that are solely decided by units' stats and solely for the purpose of grinding. If you're just putting down your units without putting any thought into it, then you're doing it wrong, and you also wouldn't be able to clear the harder contents without some actual thinking.

Also, you really don't have to pay a single cent to play this game. You need "crystals" to get the better units but the game itself is pretty generous at giving you these crystals through quests, daily logins etc. And the stamina cap? I've been playing for approximately 6 hours by the time I wrote this review and I haven't run out of stamina yet because it keeps refreshing everytime you level up, and you level up very quickly in the beginning.

I personally only started this game when it arrived on Steam. I downloaded it on my phone and made an account, but decided to delete it later on since it was taking up space without ever playing it, so I wouldn't know how the PC version differs from the mobile version. Honestly though, I have no problems with it so far so if you like mobile games like Brave Frontier, Summoners War or Chain Chronicles, I think you would find this game very addicting.

I found it hard whether to give HEX a positive or negative review, but I feel like I should give this game a chance since it does a better job than its predecessor game MTG Online. Anyway as I've already mentioned, this game is very similar to Magic in its playstyle - you play resource cards to generate resources (mana) which is required to call minions or cast spells, creatures get summoning sickness, and blockers gets the advantage - all very familiar to MTG players. That being said, this game does provide a better campaign mode than MTG Online so it has that going for it.

Letter Quest is basically Scrabble with RPG elements such as quests, upgrades and monsters! Now the concept itself was what enticed me to buy this game in the first place, but when you actually get into the game you start to realise that the game becomes rather dull and repetitive. The quests are relatively easy to complete, but the amount of "crystals" (the in-game currency) you get per quests are sort of miniscule compared to the amount that you need to even buy one upgrade when you get to higher levels. Each level also gets exponentially more difficult so unless you are a Scrabble genius or have been buying A LOT of upgrades, you wouldn't be able to pass the level, which just sort of turns this game into a grind hell.

Although in saying that, I haven't explored the game enough to know if there is some sort of mind-blowing story or a very rewarding experience waiting for me at the end. I'll update this review when I have progressed further into the game, though for now I can't really give this game my recommendation for the torturous first few hours I am experiencing.

A nice 2D fighting game with great story campaigns, nice arts and animation, and definitely beautiful music! My only complaint is that the game is rather difficult on keyboard, but otherwise it nails every other aspects of what makes a great fighting game.

Would recommend it even at full retail price, 10/10

A.R.E.S is a fun side-scrolling platformer, kinda like Megaman games (the first thing it made me thought of). It provided some decent challenge (at least if you play on Hard difficulty) and the storyline was a pass. You unlock 4 weapons throughout the game which you can upgrade into stronger versions, 5 levels each with its own boss, so the whole game was fairly short and could be finished within 3-4 hours. Although, there is a lot of replayability value if you want to upgrade all your weapons, find all the secrets and get perfect SS score on each level, and other things that are listed in the achievements.

For $5, I'd say the game wasn't bad and definitely worth trying. However, I do want to point out that there is a similar game called A.R.E.S: Extinction Agenda EX which is available for $5 extra (if you already own this game) and is apparently an improved version of this game with more content. I haven't got to play the EX version yet, but I'd say that this game has at least earned my recommendation.

Spellweaver is a collectible card game like Hearthstone that adopts the MTG playstyle. If you like Magic and are looking for a Magic-esque game, this is definitely a good option to consider since the actual Steam-released MTG games are pretty terrible. One of the aspects in which Spellweaver shines is the AI mode. Unlike Hearthstone or MTG, Spellweaver doesn't force its players to play PvP, but rather encourages a combination of both vs-ing the AI and real people. Overall, it is a decent card game worth looking into.

Before the Echo is a unique, one-of-a-kind sort of game that has both the elements of a rhythm game and RPG. Maybe unique isn't always a good thing, but this game definitely nailed it with its unique concept and amazing gameplay. If you like rhythm games like me, then you will most likely enjoy Before the Echo just as I did. It has a set of amazing soundtracks, great gameplay, very interesting characters and a clever story premise. If I have any complaint, it'd probably be the grinding you have to do to craft the recipe items, but even so it wasn't that bad and hey, what's an RPG without a little a grinding am I right? I'm definitely recommending this amazing game, 9/10

Absolutely loved this game! There are so many things that this game has done well that made the experience extremely rewarding!

- Great fighting mechanics
- Extremely fluid controls
- Overly flashy SE that makes every fight seem epic
- Good challenge in terms of normal difficulty
- A good, fitting story for the Avatar series

If this game has any drawback, it would be that it was too short. I wish there was more, but I definitely enjoyed the hours that I spent on the game. 10/10 would recommend!
