No Man's Sky - A True Masterpiece

No Man's Sky, is a truly brilliant game that excells all its expectations for me. You truly feel as if you are lost in a huge universe in No Man's Sky, (which you are). The AI space craft, frieghters, space pirates and limitless amount of creatures make the game seem as if it has its own ecosystem, which it does really, all of this adds together to create the feeling that you are in a vibrant real universe. The almost limitless variation ships and multi-tools also enable you to own things that no other person has. Also the limitless variation of creatures and planets enables you to name your own planets, flora and fauna, and it gives you a the feeling of accomplishment.

Performance

Much better than it was at launch, there are a few stutters here and there, but most people should be able to run it fine.

Pros

-So many planets.
-New beautiful graphics make the game look 10 times better.
-So many creatures, ships etc.
-Hours and hours of gameplay.
-Plus so many more good reasons, that i could not possibly have all of them in this review.
-Multiplayer adds a whole new experience to enjoy with your friends, and it makes improving in the game a hell of a lot easier. However, the fact that PVP is in the game also makes it more serious, because Han Solo could come back from the dead, and attack you, you die and you ship is destroyed and you have to start fixing your ship again.
-The revamped crafting system reflects the much more serious nature of the game, it is completely different, however the recipes for most things are easily achievable.
-Space stations interiors look a lot better.
-Clouds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-Character customisation is brilliant, so many options and colour schemes.
-Live events will add more content and exciting new features.

Cons

-Performance can be improved
-A few bugs that keep appearing such as being propelled into sky when taking off, and clipping through trees, space stations etc.
-How you actually get your old base back is unclear, and the locations of buildings on maps now don't seem to show uo when you scan.

Overall Rating

I would give No Man's Sky a 10/10, it is just sheer brilliance, i always liked the game from the start, however it was lacking on quite a few levels. The Next update finally has made No Man's Sky live up to its potential and it is now extremly enjoyable. Would defiantely recommend picking it up again and chaning your reviews on steam.
