Game is deader than a cockroach ran over by an Abrams. 15 minutes in queue and nothing. Don't waste your bandwidth and storage space.

I played up to just past the first major boss. This is a very well made game that is just as much a work of art as it is a game! However, the complicated battle system caused me to stop playing for a bit out of frustration, and now I don't remember how the battle system works. I suppose I could start over and go through the instructions once more, but I'll probably get frustrated again. I can't really give a yes or no as to whether or not I recommend this game. If it's on sale, pick it up if you don't mind complicated battle systems in JRPGs or are a fan of the original FF7. At normal price, pass. No game is worth $70 ever.

You wouldn't give your money to that street hustler that swears just needs a few more dollars for a bus ticket, so don't give your money to these scumbag developers either.

Frequent connection issues. 90% of games can't be played to the end. Don't waste your money.

Battleye considers VMWare to be a cheat. If you use VMWare, you will be unable to play this game. Do not waste your money.

I watched the tutorial. Seems like a great game for deceitful backstabbing scumbags. Just terrible.

I repeatedly push the same two buttons on my controller, but didn't get the win. The graphics are so bad that I actually noticed and had to think about the gameplay of the game. I wanted pretty graphics to assure me of my status as a winner. This game is junk.

Actually, this is one of the best games I have played in a long time. I highly recommend it, unless your expectations are that of the paragraph above. If you want a game that will challenge you, buy this game. If you want to pay someone to show you flashy graphics, call you a winner, and falsely bolster your self confidence with meaningless achievements, then go buy some other game.

Game is still buggy with major bugs that have been in the game since day one. Dinos have become more overpowered and unbalanced. I'm only playing because I can host a server for free and I can somewhat mitigate the games imbalances server side. Otherwise this game is complete trash that's not even worth playing.

It was difficult for me to make a choice between the yes and no buttons, but for the current price tag of $20, I dediced that I could not recommend this game.

The good:
1) Populated servers.
2) Building structures is fun.
3) Some of the modded servers are quite fun.

The bad:
1) It still feels more like a hobbiest's unfinished project than a commercial game.
2) The Linux version is and always has been buggy. Don't buy it unless you plan to play on Windows.
3) There are no goals or score or any way to compete with other players.
4) Many people join servers just to try to destroy stuff and annoy people. (Which is part of the game. I just didn't care for it.)
5) The game is horribly unoptimized. My computer is between the minimum and recommended (closer to recommended) and I get between 17 and 20 fps with the lowest settings.
6) You can not host a server on your own hardware as the server software is not distributed. Your only option is to rent an official server.

Bottom line: The game is an unfinished hobbiest's project and plays like models, textures, and sounds copied and pasted on to someone elses game engine. There are better free games out there let alone for the current price of $20.

I bought this game on Steam because I misplaced my original copy and wanted to play this game multiplayer with some friends. I found out that this is not to be because MULTIPLAYER HAS BEEN DISABLED IN THIS CRIPPLED COPY OF THE GAME.

DO NOT BUY!
STEAM TURNS A GOOD GAME INTO GARBAGE ONCE AGAIN!
