Behold one of those time-honored missteps—you cannot help but lament the woeful performance of the UE.

Few levels are really annoying to play because it's hard to see tetrominos due to the bad choice of composing effects. However, it's a nice new coat for an old game.

this title is my first from COD series, moreover I played rainbow six and cs:go before (total +- 1.5k hours), so its not like I am untouched by FPS games concept. Yet here I am, writing this 'bad' review..

note: As of the time of this review I did not play any other mode than DMZ, so thats what this review will be about.

Pros
+ DMZ is free
+ You will be getting nice, communicative and somehow decent teammates for the first +-20 hours
+ First +-20 hours of your gametime you will play against players with same skill as yours, or atleast somewhat close to yours
+ Forgiveness of DMZ mode, you can hop teams or revive yourself infinitely (as long as you have needed items)- but, I've come to the conclusion that its way harder to switch teams after +-20 hours of gametime.
+ Game runs and looks quite well
+ Weapons, I love weapon system in this game. You can customize almost anything you can think of. (However most of the skins are utter sh17 and camo, decals & stickers does not fit on any gun)
+ Car physics, its nice. Sometimes you can drive on ocean floor

Cons
- Connectivity, I dont know if its bad networking or because servers are overloaded during "busy hours", but rubberbanding is very usual
- NPC difficulty, ai in this game is BAD:
• next-gen wallhack - not only that they can see you thru walls, but they are also able to shoot through them and actually damage you
• some sniper guns kill armored npcs in one shot if you shoot them in body, but if you shoot them with those same guns in helmet, they will happily smack your A$$
• multiply, multiply and multiply.. A LOT of npcs are spawned in order to compensate for their weak-a$$ difficulty
• you will be absolutely nuked with smokes if you do weapon stash contracts in more difficult zones
- From what I heard, there is going to be next COD in less than a year- even when Activision said this title will last atleast two years.. I suppose most of current playerbase will move, so your current progress will be meaningless
- Matchmaking is trash, most notably cross-play is pure shtshow:
• almost all console players I have played with are (unknowingly) griefing voice-chat, they have music playing in background or they are making some.. sounds/shrieks.. - I don't know if the consoles have push-to-talk, but my teammates are definitely not using it.
• you cant disable cross-play, gamepad players are and always will be inferior to players with mouse, please do not try to combine these two. I do not want to play with or against player with gamepad
- You do not have to spend your hard-earned money each battlepass season, atleast if you play every day atleast 8 hours- because there is no other way to complete battlepass in time and therefore earn enough premium currency from it for next season.
- Missions:
• there are few missions that will stagnate your progress for a long time
• your teammates will almost never have same missions as you (even if the season started today), this could be implemented in matchmaking
- Keys:
• main menu inventory is limited to 20 keys..like why?
• you can not choose spawn location, yet you have to carry keys in your inventory in order to use them. Each key is taking one slot in your backpack..
- Most achievements are not achievable in DMZ..
- You can not save default loadout..
- xp boosters are too short if you consider that they are running in real time
- There is possibility that you will be spawn-killed at some locations..
- Looting:
• keybind is same as interact. I've switched my weapon mid-fight instead of picking plates from ground too many times
• dropped items sometimes glitch and you will never see them again
• safes - why are they made like that? Most of the time there is loot only for one player, but it takes time of whole group.. Did Activision expect random teammates to split 20k cash?

There is probably way more pros and cons, but I am exhausted and I did not play COD for the last 15 mins that I've wrote this- so its time to hop on and smack some bots.
