This game feels like Rimworld, Oregon Trail, Mad Max, classic Fallout, and NEO Scavenger coming together in such a gratifying way. Buying low in one town and selling high in another is a compelling gameplay loop, with plenty of interesting locations, random encounters, and survival mechanics to keep things interesting. There's tons items to craft and upgrade, including for your truck and your own settlements. The writing stands out as being very fresh and entertaining, from the worldbuilding of the Dustlands, down to the UI text. There's so much personality and care infused into Dustland Delivery, and it's quickly becoming one of my favorite indie games. Absolutely worth the price.

Great game, great dev. If you're into god games and colony sims give this a shot.

Great addition to Rise of Industry that transforms the game's look and feel, and poses some new challenges in gameplay. Virtually all of the resources, products, and buildings are different. While the core mechanics are still the same, I would say that it goes beyond a simple re-skinning of the assets. I'm a sci-fi/cyberpunk junkie so I personally like it better than the base game.

Well-polished game that's definitely worth the $20. The weapons are lethal, which means that cover, tactical thinking, and teamwork are essential to succeeding. The gameplay feels very well-balanced, and the squad system is impressive compared to other FPS games. The maps are pretty diverse too, ranging from lush forests to apocalyptic landscapes. Don't forget to turn on some of the post-processing effects!

Valve and Bethesda listened, and reversed their decision to impose paid mods on the community.

Thank you.

---------------------------
Skyrim is a fantastic game, and its praises have been sung by gamers since release. And while the game has always done well for itself, the developers owe the game's longevity to modders, who are constantly creating new content for the game and sharing it with others.

Maybe, by deciding to put mods on a marketplace, they thought they'd be repaying that debt to the modders. By allowing them to earn money from their creations, they could finally be compensated for their work. Take home some of the success that Skyrim has been enjoying these past few years. But by unfairly dividing the profits in a way that shafts modders, and ignoring any semblence of quality assurance, this just seems like a greedy play by Valve and Bethesda to further capitalize on content created by the community.

But it doesn't matter if this was meant to help modders, or if it was purely money-motivated. The point is that they're trying to charge the players for something that was previously free. Something that should remain free. Mod developers never created mods for money-- only for development experience, or for fun, or to share with others, all in the name of making a great game even better. Adding money to the equation isn't going to help anything. It won't raise the quality of the mods. It won't better the experience of the game. It just divides the community, and furthers the precedent of money-grubbing in the game industry.

I don't hate Skyrim. I only hate the choices and missteps that Valve and Bethesda are making, as they will ultimately lead to their own demise.
