It is a very good game but im not here to praise it but instead talk about its acchiles heel!

There are no negatives for people who quit the games even before it starts, availability of units does not increase when people leave, and starting points keep the same. Which is unfair, and very bad design.

Too damn many quitters, it is %100 of the games till you reach higher elos and even then it is still almost %50 of the games you will have quitters.

IT IS NOT FUN. until they somehow find a solution. Bans, mandatory que times etc. or just add a 1v1 ranked game mode.

Hoping this gets fixed and until then i will keep my review negative and urge you to do so.

Its been a while since the game is out but they are doing anything to improve the situation of the game.

It is still possible to play 4v5 or 3v4 but when you have 2+ quitters almost every game it is really something.

Should be more open on the page itself and told you that you need to have at least 60fps to make frame generation work. In every other instance its a mess with a lot of input lag.
Scaling works perfect but still worse against a game supporting either fsr or dlss. Works okish with baldurs gate (I have stable 30 fps) and the input lag does not bother me in that game. But for example in sea of thieves both the scaling and the frame generation sucks. I dont recommend it because no you are not going to get 60 fps in modern titles with recommended GPU and unless you do you should not use frame generation as it makes most titles unbearable.
If you are only getting it for the scaling than its ok i guess but im pretty sure its not going to live up to most expectations.
Good job nontheless, hoping to return to it in couple months and try it again.

Who would've thought that our beloved ck2 could get better! This game is rich, I mean it has lots of content even without the dlcs. Will update this review after I finally get to 100+ hours.

My Overall Feelings About The Game
The best game of al timel for me. I cant think anything better than this, and finally its full on launched which makes me a bit emotional right now. all those colonies that went down, raided by the bandits, burned by the mechanoids... Ahh it feels like it worth all the waiting now, but I have to say that I am going to miss that constant development of the game since it added lots of new things and made the game fresh all the time. Thankfully mods are here and they are awesome too. This part is a bit messy since I cant, I just cant

Writing a review for this game is not easy, even harder than the overheating problems of that little astreoid.
You have to think about so many things that you actually forget your life, school and girlfriend. You masturbate thinking about your little duplicants while crying because they are sick, full of germs, hungry and suffocating :'( + their drinking water is 45°C.
But also this adventure is like your salvation. You just sit into your chair, start your computer, open the fricking game and relax after your final exams, which you sucked so hard that even sucking up on proffesors wouldn't be enough. ohh, actually that part is kinda identical. Since even sucking up to the klei is not enough to save your duplicants :)

• Graphics: 10/10 for the cuteness

• Gameplay: 7/10 you can play this game over and over, but yeah you repeat yourself alot. There are good amount of variety in things that you can do, but if you really want to survive as much as you can well at that point your order of things are just kinda same every game. Its still fun tho.

Overall 8/10 must play game.

This game has lot to offer but that really depends on you.
Lets say you have good communications skills, that might mean nothing when you play something like BF or CoD. In this game, even if you suck at firefights you are still going to get most of it and enjoy it as much as you can. COMMUNICATION IS EVERYTHING . The comm system of this game is one of the most refined and immersive of this genre, not as hard to learn as Arma but still very immersive and easy to use. Imho its also the most important feature of this game, you really need to work as a squad in order to capture a hill defended by mgs and armoured vehicles and you definitely need to work as a faction to push back the enemy lines. You cant just win a battle with 9 man squad, you need vehicle support, mortars and hqs in order to accomplish anything in this game. This is the strongest feature that Squad offer but also the worst thing occasionaly. Sometimes you get squad leader without a proper kit or microphone. If your squad leader stops communicating you become lone wolfs and that is not enjoyable in this game. You have no idea what is the rest of team is doing, what you need to do. Squad leaders have to communicate with each other. This thing rarerly happens so most of the time you have no real insight of the battle as a squad member, which makes the game a painful experience. You can solve this by just taking the lead, but then you really have no choice besides being a squad leader. That is not fun if you cant be a medic, riflemen or an mg. This issue can also be dealt if you find a decent server with admins constantly trying to improve the conditions of the player. That can be done by kicking non-speaking SLs and making sure of no ones being a lone wolf. I quit playing this game months ago, I have a desire to come back in future, but that really depends on the improvements of community. If player base gains more experience and becomes more aware of this problems. So here's my other opinions about the game:

Sound: If you dont have good speakers or headphones just dont, dont even dare to play this game. BECUASE THE SOUND EFFECTS ARE FRICKING AWESOME. You definietly need a proper device to appreciate the quality.

Graphics: They are not top notch, but decent enough. You have to understand that the maps are huge and you really need to see what happens in the distance. Sometimes you have firefight happening in 100meters but sometimes you have to fire that rpg to a 500 meters away vehicle. 5 point would be fair for the graphical quality but calculating the map sies I think game deserves something like a 7.
