It's a very interesting combination of Stellar Blade, Nioh and kind of Bloodborne, with very specific elements grabbed from each and new mechanics added on top, like the Madness system.
All in all a very fun soulslike so far, lots of surprising QoL elements (super easy transmog, skill by skill refund for the skill tree and so on), fun exploration, lots of funky weird things to find and figure out and I mean that in a good way, lots of Fashion Souls to be had as well.

Absolutely amazing survival game with tons of content, surprising amount of story and lore, almost feels like the story stuff in SWToR.
Wish the endgame was less PvP and more PvE but we'll see how it evolves.

Controls take a bit to get used to but the atmosphere of the game is awesome, an actual proper space trucking game without the way too realistic travel times you'd have in a game like Elite Dangerous.

Plus a very cool maintenance systems, that makes me think of the big sub in Subnautica almost, fun skill upgrade system and interesting camaigny missions tied to other named space truckers.

Absolutely amazing game, the exploration, the gameplay, the different vocations, graphics, great improvement over DD1, getting completely immersed every time I go out exploring, fighting the large enemies is always a blast.
Performance issues for sure, but nothing that won't get fixed, much like Jedi Survivor.

As for the MTX, in general MTX always sucks and is bad, but in a Single Player game, I don't frankly care if they put the entirety of the in-game vendors inventory on the store as MTX, I just won't buy that stuff and play the game normally, it just doesn't affect me in any way. If this was an MMO or such, then sure, burn the witch, but it's not, I can't understand people complaining about it.

Best Character Creator maybe ever.
More games like this should release the Character Creator early to save us the hours lost on launch creating our character.

Closest we'll get to Bloodborne on PC and actually a very good Soulslike.

Game of the Decade

People have 0 chill nowadays, I swear, after applauding the Devs for how amazing they are at listening to players and doing great work and how more Devs need to be like this, everyone lost their collective ♥♥♥♥ on launch day because of technical issues which suck for sure but just give the Devs some time to fix it and live up to the expectations.

That aside it's a looter shooter done right, the feeling of the guns, the customizability with mods, interactions with your abilities, combos you can pull off, all feel amazing.

The story I know some people say it's generic or bland, I personally enjoy it and I feel like it combines mass effect andromeda with mad max with all kinds of things to discover and a feeling of dread and despair even as survival against impossible odds is at the forefront and promise of intriguing twists on the horizon.

I'll update this review as I put more hours into it but so far I'm loving it.
