I'd wait until it's optimised properly. Pretty much unplayable for me at this moment in time. All low settings, 1080p, DLSS on performance, on a 3080ti, and it slugs along, frozen frames. Unbelievable to be honest.

Quite simply, ruddy brilliant. No further comment your honour.

Pay for a game, and get a whole game. And then some. And no no getting fleeced after the fact.

Bravo Larian. You've nailed it.

I've been waiting for this game to come out after seeing it, and craving something wholesome and carefree after a few years of turmoil and a very scary grownup world. After playing for a short while, I'm glad to say Lil Gator Game delivers, and then some. The writing is very wholesome, and funny, and it warms your heart. The gameplay is equally wholesome, where thee stakes couldn't be lower, but it doesn't matter because the real stakes are trying to have fun, and it's just so easy to have fun!

No grown up stuff. This is playtime! Learn to be a kid again. You deserve it, and you owe it to yourself.

Brilliant, heart-warming, endearing, and one of the best co-op games I've ever played! Gameplay is solid, and utilises the co-op element perfectly. The game is also gorgeous, and its environments suck you in and you lose yourself in this little world. The characters are lovable, and the development is great. The story is brilliant. It's not fighting for world peace. It's not a grand intergalactic conflict where the universe hangs in the balance. And yet, the stakes feel higher than all that, and in the end, maybe they are. Sometimes the small things are infinitely more important than the big.

Recent update makes the game literally unplayable.
Remove the broken 2k launcher. Fix the game. I don't want to be disconnecting, reconnecting, not able to connect, game crashing, game not launching. I was looking forward to playing again, but I can't. I'm going to have to wait until this mess is fixed.

Oozing with charm, and a delight to play, especially with friends. Lots of things to keep you going and engaged.

Get utterly immersed and lose yourself in this gorgeous world. Equal parts chill, terrifying, and tense. I'm hooked!

What a beautiful, complex, fantastic game. The music is just gorgeous and tear-jerking. It is somehow a fairly challenging puzzle game, without ever feeling like a puzzle game. It will have you invested from start to finish, and you will just adore this quaint, but somehow larger than yourself world full of mystery.

I envy you if you get to play this for the first time. Go in blind, don't look anything up, as it will ruin the surprises, of which there are many. There are so many eureka moments, and you'll be so glad you jumped in and experienced it for yourself.

I love the base game. It's quirky, fun, unique, but most of all it has heart. This DLC seems to take all that care and throw it out of the window. From the get go, it shows, when the basic grammar is terrible with mistakes popping up in every other line. That shows how little care was taken. That seeps over to the writing as well. The base game is funny, and entertaining, whereas this drags on and on without a hint of comedic timing. In the base game, I love reading all the prompts, I don't speed run for endings, I just enjoy the fun. However, in this DLC, even I had to skip through some of the benign text that felt like it had been copy and pasted from somewhere else.
The art is on point and very much in keeping with the game, it's just such a shame the care wasn't taken to continue putting the love into this project that it originally had.

Early Access Review
Brilliant game which can be extremely relaxing and atmospheric, while also offering a great platter of gameplay! Very intuitive and a joy to get to grips with. The environments are gorgeous and stylistic, and the sound design and soundtrack are equally as mesmirising. Continues to surprise with each hour I play, and wonderfully addictive!
Highly recommended!
