Spec Ops: The Line it's a third person shooter released in 2012 by 2k Games. It looks really generic and for absolutely sure I can tell you that there's nothing generic about this game.

Yeah the gameplay it's not something out of the box, but it's well crafted, a lot of weapon diversity, online cooperative and also a bunch of achievements to go for.

But the point here it's the story, the details of it that makes this game so enjoyable. You're Cpt. Walker, accompained by Lt. Adams and Ssgt. Lugo, you three are sent as a three-man Delta Force team to carry out reconnaissance.

You will really get into it and will question every decision that you and your fellas make. In fact your decisions impact the ending of the game. I won't spoil anything, but for sure it's not easy to be a hero.

Spec Ops shows what many shooters can't achieve: a great story combined with a well crafted gameplay.

Gentlemen, welcome to Dubai.

Super Time Force Ultra is a side-scrolling action/shooter game by Capybara (Critter Crunch/Sword & Sorcery).
You start each level with a 60 seconds counter. You need to finish it before the counter hits 0. The levels are based on various points in history like the middle ages, dynosaurs and also the future.

You can go back in time to do things differently (you must do it each time you get killed) about 30 times each level.
The fun part is that you can actually "save" YOURSELF from dying if you kill the enemy before he kills YOU FROM THE PAST (woah). You need to make several time travels per level to finish it in time.

Each time that you make a time travel you can pick another character, there is a great variety of them (Aimy McKillin is my favorite, the sniper one). Plus, there is a well known character from a famous valve title in this game that needs to be unlocked ^~^

The game has no local co-op or online mode, which it's not a letdown in my pov, cause the game's concept doesn't fit well in a co-op mode. It would be really chaotic to make it, since both players would need to work together and make every time travel to be useful and to not mess up with the other's player timeline.

STFU (yeah) it's a excellent game with a creative proposal, well crafted retro graphics, funny history and addictive gameplay. I recommend it to anyone looking for a great 2D platformer experience.

BioShock Infinite it's the third game in the BioShock series released in 2013 by 2k Games and it was made by Irrational Games studio. The first thing that everyone knows about this game it's the hype. And I must say something about this hype: believe it.

BioShock Infinite offers a great gaming experience, with a thrilling story, nice gameplay and beautiful graphics, it also has some DLCs that you MUST take a shot. It's story it's probably the brightest spot of the game and you need to pay attention at everything to get the hang of it. After playing a hour or two I felt myself really connected to the game, like a movie but in a movie that you're actually in it (If you're actually an actor it's still a great experience).

It's recommended to play the first two games, excellent games btw, the stories are not actually connected but several elements and references from the older games are found in this one.
In terms of gameplay it is easier than BioShock cause in this one you have a lot of money and ammo and in the others games those things are rarity.
I really recommend this game to anyone that likes a great and well made story and a nice fps gameplay too.

Shovel Knight it's an indie platformer retro game that brings all the good memories from old school games, featuring amazing soundtrack and challenging gameplay. You use a shovel (!!!) to attack enemies, dig some stuff and play music with the wild animals of the forest.
Charismatic characters, funny story, new game+ and various other stuffs make this game full of things to do, I highly recommend to anyone that likes platformer games that offers a good challenge and a well made gameplay.

Risk of Rain it's a platformer retro style game that offers great challenge. The goal it's to finish the game as fast as possible, cause the difficult increases as time goes by. The game features local and online coop.
It features 6 stages that needs to be completed in order to finish the game. And that's where the real challenge are. There are 10 characters in total, but only 1 is playable at the start of the game, the others needs unique requirements to be unlocked.
You can also find artifacts throughout the game that helps on your way.
In a general review I can say that Risk of Rain offers great fun and addictive gameplay, and it's a must have for retro style games and platformers enthusiastics.

TowerFall Ascension it's such a massive hit in the local multiplayer genre (and there's no online mode) and a helluva difficult single mode (which can be also played in local co-op mode). It offers dynamic fights with bows, arrows, jumps and dozens of different powerups

It offers great challenges in the quest mode and has a beautiful game design, soundtrack, and charismatic characters.
The character's movement it's really easy to get used but not easy to master it. The more you play it, the better you get at it (in most cases).

TowerFall it's a must have for local multiplayer lovers and enthusiastics and it's totally worth the price tag.

LUFTRAUSERS brings all the glorious fun and fast paced action to the sky with bullet hell elements and retro graphics.

You can customize your aircraft that better suits your goal before every launch.
In each launch you need to fullfill certain requirements depending what part you equipped to gain access to new parts and new goals.
After completing some challenges you unlock the SFMT mode, which is way harder and challenge the player to it's edge.

An overall great game that looks simple and short but in the end offers fun and good challenges.

Kickbeat it's a creative rhythm music themed game, nice graphics and enjoyable experience too, not to mention the funny and nice story. For me, it didn't felt misplaced or bad timed on any song. But the difficult about adding a custom song to the game it is really a letdown. Audiosurf did it, and really well, the same cannot be said about this one. The method it is really complex, and even if you did well all the steps, the song didn't not come up good and/or the graphics glitches. Besides that I still think that it is a cool game cause I'm a music games fan, since Amplitude. If you are a fan too of this kind of game, go fot it, if you are a newcomer, maybe pass it.

this game was the first one that I bought here on steam and the only one that I got all the achievements, which was not a easy job. The game it's a really fun experience, not with online multiplayer, which it is a letdown, but still really pleasant with a good gameplay and nice mechanics. Maybe too much repetitive sometimes, but a local coop fix that. Not a must have but it's low price it's a encouragement for a fun time.
