Early Access Review
Love it, lots of fun, just wish it had 5120 x 1440 support yet. You can stretch out 2560 x 1440 to exclusive fullscreen, doesn't look terrible, but doesn't look great either. Not too tough, but I've died a few times :) Once more into the breach, dear friends...

Over 450 hours in so far (I have had the game since it went into early access), the game rocks, it has come a long way since going into early access. I am not biased in this, I play almost all ARPG's and have thousands of hours in some of them (Grim Dawn, over 6k hours). I think this is an amazing game and well worth a look for anyone into ARPG's.
It's got good theorycrafting, the opinion that the graphics aren't the best that some people have espoused on youtube, simply says to me that they haven't tried out Ultra, I play this game on a top end system with a 5K monitor and it looks great. Gameplay is fun, all the abilities feel impactful and, most importantly, it's a lot of fun to play, either solo online, solo offline, or with friends online. If you're on the fence, give it a shot. If I had to give it a rank in the scheme of things, which, in my opinion is not really appropriate (every game has it's own merits), I'd say it's up there with all the top ARPG's out right now, it's complex enough to enguage your intellect, not as high a learning curve as PoE (but I love PoE for that), but still very easy to lose a sense of time with. I'm very much looking forward to see what the devs do with this one, but I love it in it's current state, so the sky's the limit.

I love this game, and, as a Scotsman myself (grew up in a small town called Kirkliston, 15 Miles outside Edinburgh, just south of South Queensferry where the famous railway bridge is), I have to say it's really awesome playing in a game where all the accents are Scottish, not that other accents are not cool too.

The game itself is a lot more fun than I thought it would be, I'm not one for nostalgia, been a gamer since I made my first PC in 1980, but I digress, as RPG's go, it's got just about everything you could ask for, beautiful graphics, VERY immersive gameplay, relatable characters, an interesting divergent storyline (I haven't got much time in the game yet to say this for certain, but that WILL change; I have good feelings about this game), and so much more, but it still pays homage to the old school Bards Tale games with the combat style.

In short, I love it, and would recommend it to everyone who loves ARPG's and RPG's.

What an awesome game! I've been playing D&D type games since basic Dungeons & Dragons in the early 70's (yeah, I'm old), and this is the closest experience I've had in a CRPG to tabletop gaming. I love it. Oh, and I've been gaming on pc's since I built my first one, a Sinclair ZX 80 back in 1980 when I was 11. If you loved D&D and love Pathfinder, or even if you've never played tabletop rpg's before and just love CRPG's, you need to buy this game.

A lot seems to have changed with the 2.0 patch and the expansion, I'll get those and try the game out again, hopefully with a positive recommendation.

3.2k hours played, Ashes of Malmouth expansion just around the corner, looks like I'll be playing some more, just can't get enough, best ARPG since D2. Period.
