This is a very hard game. It takes too long to master it. Heck, it takes too long to learn the basics. Everyone keeps telling you that it will be fun after you spend 200 hours getting sliced to ribbons. I don't think it's worth it.

Underneath all the pop culture references and nostalgia, lies one of the most refreshing tactical RPGs on the market.

I've always longed for a modern 2D beat'em up. While there are some cool games with this premise (say, Dust) none of them carry that same beat'em up feel. Aces Wild promises to do so and delivers it so flawlessly I was almost weeping tears of joy as a I played. It's fast, it's wild and you can break stuff around you. It's silly and goofy while still delivering hardcore fighting action. I say Game of the Year. I say Game of the Decade. Best money I ever spent in Steam.

Your life won't make sense until you have played this game. Buy it. Just... just buy it, ok?

Very immersive experience. A blast from the past for anyone that grew up in the 90s. Excellent soundtrack. Touching storyline. Well done graphics. This game has it all.

This game is surprisingly addictive.
It's a great old school platformer that progresses really well. It's also really hard, but that should be a given for any old school platformer. It maintains a very light hearted and humorous atmosphere, which is refreshing given the grimdark nature of most games around. The music is fantastic even if you're not really into electronic music (it even worked for me!).
Strongly recommended. 10/10.
