Unfair difficulty spikes, vary rare checkpoints, PRECISE PLATFORMING while you can't control your jumps!
While first game was at lest bearable on lowest diff. this one is annoying and frustrating!

Environmental detail and design takes you back to original movies.
Solid gameplay, that gives plenty of free space to experiment on normal difficulty.
Definitely buy it, at least on discount.

Good pick on discount.
Played on Steam Deck - not optimized at all. FPS drops below 60 even on lowest settings.
Out of all games from this dev this one at least has ACTUAL gameplay that adds couple extra (optional) twists. Story is next to non-existent.
Main appeal are sex scenes between chess "pieces" and it is... there.

Feels rushed story-wise.
Played on Steam Deck and it runs a bit better than previous projects from this dev.
It feels like there is untapped potential with kinks in this one. Yet abrupt ending cuts this questionable fun (next to no gameplay) very short.
Unsatisfying. + personally: songs were too cringey and unnecessary.

Considering the price, you won't loose much. But you won't get much either as the story is nowhere finished. And it doesn't look like there are plans to keep working on it.

If I could put a Maybe score, I would.
Played on Steam Deck. Not well optimized.
Whole concept is good but the execution is lacking.
Pick on a sale if you are interested in not ordinary fetishes and want a bit of food for thoughts.

Interesting concept that isn't too drawn out. But it could have tried to experiment with it some more.

Nice to look at and to listen to but a bit too short. Best to get it on discount

Story - GOOD (uses really low hanging fruit to tell you messages like "oppression only brings suffering no matter the goal" but sometimes that's what needed to reach some audiences deep to the core)

Gameplay - VARIED (not many gimmicks slapped on top of 'generic' RPGM turn-based combat that can be trampled on with sufficient grinding and adequate gear for current level)

Art - FITTING (it suits the narrative design when it's needed and is easy on the eye)

Smut - QUESTIONABLE ("came for the 'plot' but stayed for an actual plot; it's used a lot to show you dark side of humanity as well as drive certain plot points, other than that it's not necessary to move story forward and actually felt like a nuisance when you are trying to focus on the plot; wouldn't cut it out completely but if you quickly skip through some scenes you won't miss much; definitely not the driving force of this game!)

Audio - NICE (good BGM, nothing stuck in my mind or made me want to listen to it separately though)

If you want some score at the end - 7-8/10. Which is much higher than most games on this platform honestly.
Definitely recommended for JRPG/H-RPG/good story fans!

It has a great variety of gameplay, set-dressing and ideas to tackle.
Definitely a must play if you yearn for a co-op play, be it with your friend or loved one(s).

It can be problematic to set-up online connection at first (we've used EA servers, since through Steam it didn't quite work somehow). Only major gripe is that the story cuts off abruptly. It could be better, of course. You are left with a satisfying conclusion though!

Still, it's more of a YES than no!

You got a big arsenal of different weapons (guns, turrets, artilery, bombardment etc.) to mow down hoards of enemies.

Currently there are two types of enemies: buga and bots. Each has it's own subgroups of different units with each own different strengths and weaknesses that you have to learn to be able to deal with them efficiently, especially on highier difficulties.

Right now there are 10 difficulty levels and the higher it is the harder and amarter (and more numerous) enemies get. They don't just have more health/deal more damage like in many games with different difficulty aettings. And of course, the higher it is - the better are rewards at the end.

Visuals can be very stunning, yet the game is quite demaning if you want to run it on max settings even at 1080p.

Audio is mostly carried by music that accompanies you suring fights. Yet nearly all of your arsenal sounds believable and "impactful".

I've been playing mostly with 1 friend at a time but as of now the game has many players so it won't take long to get some random players to join you if you start alone, even on lower difficulties.

The MOST INPORTANT part is PS account requirement. As of now Sony sticks to it's dumb decision to lock this game regionally in many countries. It doesn't require PS acc. log in solely due to player push back.

Game is being updated but if you play it "all day, everyday" you'll run out of new things to do and try quickly. From my experience it works best if you do 1-2 sets of missions a day

TL:DR: It's fun. Probably worth it at full price, especially with friends.
