really gave this game a shot, i like the aesthetic and the world, it kind of draws you in but ultimately it just locks you in place after that if you don't understand what to do. that would be understandable, but it doesn't guide you to the tools you need, or even give you an understanding of what problems you need to solve. the puzzles i could figure out were neat, but most of them i couldn't even figure out what they were trying to be. you can go all over the place but nothing felt intuitive, and that just forced me to give up after a while. it was frustrating. i imagine many will enjoy it, and plenty have, but it just doesn't feel intuitive, and there's no hints to help it click for you. the few puzzles i got done, i tried many things that i thought might explain the rules of the puzzle, but in the end it's trial and error just to find out what the puzzle is even asking of you. i personally wouldn't recommend

great strategy, story heavy tabletop themed game with an interesting world and easy to understand yet robust mechanics. great to play alone or with friends, though if playing with friends, communicate and strategize together! it will make the turn rounds go faster and be more satisfying. would definitely recommend, especially given the customisation of your builds, the fascinating characters and world, and the ability to mod the game mechanics to your preference! it's not too hard to use mods in coop campaigns either. highly recommend!!

this game got a lot of flack, and after years of trying to enjoy it, giving it the benefit of the doubt again and again... it deserves all that flack. it falls so flat, is incredibly irritating, and never once drew me into its world. it only ever bored me no matter how much patience i gave it. if you're looking at this game, hoping it'll be the fun, vast, open world experience you've been craving.... keep looking.

absolutely amazing puzzle game, hard puzzles but rarely to the point where you feel like quitting. it's engaging and has beautiful visuals and audio, the soundtrack keeps you enjoying yourself in a puzzle solving state of mind, and the story and moral issues are tactfully and interestingly handled. despite having some very serious (and scary) questions to ask about life, it leaves you secure in our world. HIGHLY recommend.

pros: super neat strategy play and mechanics, does overall work pretty well, great team based game, gets regular updates and balancing

cons: loading times can be a bit much, community is full of toxicity so bring a team, takes a lot of practice and game knowledge to fully enjoy

would definitely recommend. and message me if you're trans/queer and playing, i run a siege discord so it's easy to find non-toxic teammates. it's a very team based game.
