45 Hours played
The first 30 hours or so was kinda fun. I really enjoyed some of the side quests. That said after some time the amount of fast traveling ruins the experience. FT here, grab a quest, FT over there, talk. FT somewhere else, kill some stuff, FT back.

The native idea of the game ruins what Bethesda does best. Exploring an interesting map with cool stories and things to discover. The RNG exploration on planets can't hold a torch to previous Bethesda games.

Fallout 4 for example is one of the best maps Beth made to run around, find random quests and just explore to no end. While Starfield you never get to sink your teeth into the ground somewhere. It's just small little slices of places.

The new DLC aims to fight this issue but at this point it's just a loss. Starfield is not a bad game. It's also just not a good game either. It has some cool features, some nice quests but the romance stuff was pretty lame especially after BG3 making it feel impossible to take serious and made me laugh tbh.

Combat feels decent but it's Creation so it's still a bit odd compared to say 2077 or any FPS really.

I'm glad they they tried to make a space game but it should of been more like Outer Worlds with a couple planets with hand made content all the way through. If you can get it for $30 or less it's a solid buy. Full price just not really worth it IMO.
