For it's time, this game was absolutely amazing. It is nice to go back in time to before developers had all the controls optimised to where every game controls almost identically. After getting your button config to where you like it, the game is really enjoyable, except when it isn't.

There were definitely a lot of quirkiness and weird mechanics here that became incredibly tiresome after having to repeat missions over and over again. Almost all of the cons in this game would be massivly alleviated with the simple addition of a quick save button. The checkpoints were at times too far apart. Games used to be brutal. Maybe that is an upside to a lot of people.

I can say that finishing this game felt like an accomplishment. I found myself frutrated but determined to finish it. Overall, I definitely reccomend this to anyone willing to go back in time and enjoy what games used to be.
