My Favorite is that in every colony of naked mole rats there are a couple individuals whose job is just to grow as large and fat as possible. During the rainy season, they will plug the tunnel entrances with their fat little behinds and save the colony from downing. (A cymbal monkey can plug his behind to save us from drowning)
