This game franchise has become so ridiculous that its now indistinguishable from Crackdown, and this is a good thing. Overpowered sandbox TPS games are fun as hell.

This game owns and is one of the best space empire building games since GalCiv2. That being said, diplomatic victory is about as fun as watching paint dry and should be avoided at all costs unless you're achievement hoarding.
