Feels more like a community mod rather than a studio original game.
I'll give the game more time just to be sure, but none of these 6 hours has been enjoyable so far.

[CONS]
[] The game is too short, I finished it in 11 hours and I did a whole lot of side quests & collectibles as well.
[] The story is not so much engaging nor intriguing (You don't get "hooked")
[] You wear the same latex armor through the whole game, and can only change the color of it.
[] The sisters personalities changes a bit too drastically through the story.

[PROS]
[] The graphics are beautiful.
[] The architectural & physical design of the enemies are astonishing.
[] The sound of explosions, reloads, walking/vaulting/climbing & shooting is stellar.

[CONCLUSION]
You should definitely pick this up on a 50% or more discount

By far the most disappointing title of them all, this is not how you make your fans wait 8 years in hopes of a sequel.

The gameplay in comparison to Borderlands 2 is for sure an improvement, but the replayability and "story" is both equally terrible. As of now (2020-04-02) the MAX level cap is for some reason 57, which I hit about 20% into the second playthrough. That alone rendered the whole point of pushing through this incompetent "story" impossible.

I hesitated on buying this since release, only because it had mixed reviews at the time. After 8 hours of playing, I can with ease claim that this is GOTY material. I don't know how long it must've taken for the bois to make most of the sounds so realistic, to a point where you gotta double-check if it came from outside your room/living space.

[]

Story 3.5/5
Sound 5/5
Dialogues (Free roam) 2/5
Dialogues (Story) 3.5/5
Physics 4.5/5
Driving (Plane, Boat, Car) 4.5/5
Weapons 4/5
World Size (comparison to its purpose) 4/5

[]

GeForce GTX 960
RAM 12Gb
Intel Core i5-6400 2.70GHz (Quad core)

With these specs I could run it in 50-60 FPS 90% of the time whilst on lowest graphic settings.
This info could help someone out.

I would without any hesitation recommend this to any individual that is interested in (Strategy/Survival) games.
This game brings unique art style which is very pleasing for the eye. It is very obvious for me that they've put their heart and souls into this game, hence why I'm leaving this (5/5) recommendation.

I mean payday 2 always endorse the player to progress in their own manner, you could either do it stealthily or die. I mean the choice is yours, the sky is the limit when you have all the options at hand.

Even though I watched a ton of videos that reviewed this game negatively before actually playing it myself, I just couldn't stop playing once I started.

Made me feel like I was back in my childhood playing Super Mario 64 chasing stars.
Pure nostalgic elements, love it.

This game had so much potential in becoming a modern-classic dungeon rpg, in my eyes.

Harebrained Schemes, in association with Paradox studio, has been creating multiple titles since their official launch 2011. Games such as "Strikefleet Omega", "Shadowrun", "Necropolis", and their most recent published; "BattleTech". - (April 2018)
Before Necropolis was released, their focus in developing games was laid in mobile;
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Quoted from their official webbsite)
Steam Pirates - iOS & Chrome 2011
Strikefleet Omega - iOS & Android 2012
Shadowrun Returns - Steam and mobile 2013
Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Steam 2014
Shadowrun Dragonfall, Directors Cut - Steam & mobile 2014
Shadowrun: Hong Kong - Steam 2015
Necropolis - Steam 2016
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As John Walker, Senior Editor of the "rockpapershotgun" quoted in his article/review about Necropolis just days after its official release; "Shadowrun developers Harebrained Schemes have appeared with a very different game [...]", and finishes with "Which was an odd choice, all things concidered."

From an outside perspective, it would seem that Harebrained Schemes developed this game whilst learning the engine that they were practising. You can see that technique quite often amongst even the bigger companies, such as Blizzard, who used Unity to make Hearthstone.
Whilst reading further about this, naturally I thought that this title was never really meant to accomplish much in their eyes either. Perhaps they just decided to publish their first ever made product with the new engine, updating it along the way.

However, going into their update history of the game, you can read that the first post about the game (02 Feb 2016), states that its ready to be pre-ordered. For those who downvoted this game after it got updated to Brutal Edition 7 months after its official release, imagine how scammed the people who pre-ordered must've felt.

When all the cards has been revealed, Harebrained Schemes weren't so innocent after all.
In conclusion, this game is 100% abandoned by the developers and will not get updated.
