I wanted to like this game, but the bugs are crippling. The AI frequently will get hung and refuse to take it's turn. Don't waste your money.

What I wanted Artifact to be. Great on mobile.

Poorly paced, rehashed gameplay from the first two games. Easily the weakest of the three.

I want to like this game so much. Unfortunately, as some of the other reviews here note, it's a mechanical chore with a really interesting aesthetic wrapper. I enjoyed the 2.5ish hours I played, but I have very little interest in going back and getting all the favorable endings.

The game is really a series of management decisions, but the pseudo-random nature of the intial setup and the clarity of what the 'best' decision is outside of luck make it a poor strategy game. Worth playing, but not for full price.

The locomotion in this is cool, but it feels like a total grind to progress, which isn't what I'm looking for in a rogue-lite.

If you had told me 5 years ago that a Wolfenstein game was one of the best written, directed, and acted video games I've played, I would have laughed you out of the room. And yet, here we are.

The gameplay can honestly get a bit tedious, and do yourself a favor and skip returning to districts for death cards. You'll just burn out. But man, there are some really crazy moments in here that absolutely are worth seeing.

While reductive, Left 4 Dead with loot is a pretty good comparison. And frankly, I actually like it more than Left 4 Dead, I think the moment to moment action feels better.

That said, if you played Left 4 Dead for the Versus Mode, be aware that this game is PvE only.

At present, a completely unacceptable port job. Combined with the debacle that was MKX's launch, I will never buy a WB game before benchmarks come in ever again. They should be ashamed.

A short visual novel/adventure hybrid with a wonderful neo-noir tone. Recommended with the reservation that the game is not yet fully complete. Two more episodes are planned.

A somewhat janky but oddly compelling adventure game, the best in the series up to this point.
