Coming from GB3, I feel like the controls are a little alienating. The way OPs work now, how block is on circle, and aim mode is a toggled mode, it just feels wrong. And I know they did it to make dual wielding work... badly. Like, i'm trying to do a combo, but at the start, if you try mashing square, you'll just be trying to slap ♥♥♥♥ with your shield, instead of using the saber in your other hand, tied to it's own button.

That's whats bad. What's mid is your company feels like they split Misa Satsukino into two worst characters. And saying 'how dare you' at the start should've opted you out of the sheer volume of tutorials. Like, that should've meant something.

The customisation, has a lot of promise. It has come a long way!

But at this point, I didn't feel justified spending the amount of money I did on it. So perhaps i'll save it for a sale, when things are a bit further a long, and more figured out.

I'm also holding out hope that now this Unreal 4 based game is on PC, that we'll start to see an intrepid modding scene that could remedy my issues. Hopefully they won't implement anti cheat on this robot toybox sandbox game focused on cool fighting robots with zero stakes... just the way I like it.

I think i'll go plug in my PS4 and play more GB3 now.

I wanted to show my friend this really weird duck on the internet, but the web browser only works per person so they couldn't see it. A big let down!

But it's also about what I would've paid for the game itself. And my friends and I can assert dominance with a gravity defying spin kick.

After (The) Gnorp Apologue, I never thought I'd be bullying more boulders in a video game.

The game's pretty goat butt- sorry.. pretty good, but it's very easy to get lost as the rooms often have no memorable features, butt movement- sorry.. but, movement tricks are so fun to pull off in the game that I don't mind so much.

The combat could use some work though.

Early Access Review
I had a lot of fun with this. The mechanics are a really cool, with how intricate and populated with systems you can make your drill ship. You can even set up automation of components so you're always ready to head out for a battle. It's fun to hit enemy drill ships, chip at their defences, and rush into them when you create a literal opening, smashing and grabbing through the ship, and blowing it to pieces.

But keep in mind, there is currently around 10-20 hours of gameplay. Once you've finished the last quest, the game is just over and done. Keep in mind, the developer has recently promised a much larger play area with much more to do, so if you want a long survival game, I recommend waiting until then...

But if you're interested in taking the mechanics for a spin, try it now and support the development of bigger and better (longer) things in the future.

Life sucks and then you crunch.

And that's only the beginning...

Take a look at my hours. Do you think I'll have something insightful and in depth to say about the game?

No... at least, not past the beginning.

Try it. If you drop off, that's fair, but do try it, it's worth checking out how the game feels to play. Even when you're brand new, it feels good, and if that is enough to hook you, then you can make the judgement on whether to keep going with it.

So it wasn't until I married my Spouse, got convinced she wanted to be sacrificed, found out it was someone else's idea, and thanks to a glitch, upon resurrecting them, they then proceeded to share a tent with another follower.

Also, justice for Gusion.
