imagine a game where overall reviews are sitting at mostly positive, while recent reviews are sitting at mostly negative. strange, huh? well, there is a reason behind it. a solid one.

i've played this game since season 1. it is like since 2019, almost when it did come out. this game was REVOLUTIONARY at this point in time - no other battle royale was as convenient to play as apex.

but since it came out it had a huge problem - ea.
the problem is not that ea wants your money - every single company does that. the problem is that ea is not doing anything in order to make this game play better.

this game is in a TERRIBLE technical condition. crashes, server lags, desyncs, 5 YEAR OLD BUGS, etc.
the only thing that they're adding to the game is battle passes and more microtransactions.
all the things that this game has gameplay-wise is fascinating, i've played more than a thousand hours (most of them was when the game wasn't at steam), but at this point the game is practically unplayable.

tl;dr: the game is broken and ea doesn't do anything about it.
