This review was written by a born and raised Senran Kagura fan that despises Neptunia with every fiber of their existence. This review will be relentlessly comparing Senran Kagura and my limited Neptunia experience. They only brought it on themselves.

Starting with the story... I must admit, I skipped all of the cutscenes. Neptune's voice gives me an aneurysm.

Next we have the combat: it's shallow. Compared to SK and even Hyperdimension Action U, they removed the heavy attack and replaced it with a ranged attack. Shinobi transformations and the Goddess transformations have been removed.

How are the characters? There is only 10. There are 20+ characters in the Senran Kagura franchise they could have used. Let's not forget the countless number of characters in the whole of Neptunia. Where is Marvelous AQL? You know, the literal Senran Kagura reference for Neptunia? Also the customization is terrible; most characters only have 2 outfits, some only have 1. I will say, I don't hate the Spirit Gem system. It allows you to really make a character play the way you want.

Also just a few other things gutted from this game is the dressing room and clothing damage.

Overall, just play Senran Kagura: Estival Versus or Hyperdimensia Action U; they play much better and have more content for you to enjoy.

On a side note, the voice actor for Yumi stole the show, making her even more adorable than usual.

As a veteran Lego Star Wars fan, I have mixed feelings.

This game is great on a technical level, having all 9 of the movies in one package. All the characters are beautifully animated and blaster fights have been massively improved since The Force Awakens. Unfortunately, thats where the positives end for me.

The levels are very short. To some, that sounds like a good thing, but to me, it fails to make an impact on the player. Just when the level starts to get good, it ends.
Also, the bugs. I have no idea how a LEGO game, has this many bugs. The mumble mode that so many LEGO veterans like me have been so excited for; it actually breaks some of the in-game sequences. In my experience, I also have quite a few game-breaking bugs that force a game reset, and even a crash to desktop.

When I first booted this game up, I was beyond excited. When the bugs get fixed, I will delete this review to give a [Neutral] stance on this game instead.

Edit: No Battle Over Coruscant level requires that this game recieves a permanent negative review.

Do you know why I hate Karryn's Prison?
'Cus it's the best game ever made.
The graphics look like they were drawn by a four year-old
with the talents of Pablo Picasso, in his prime.
Which is what I would have said if I liked the graphics,
which I do
not.
Narratively, this game is a paragon of interactive storytelling.
Every choice you make weighs on your conscious because every connection you make with the characters feels organic.
And that's why I'm giving this game a five out of five
billion, it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ su-
GOOD.

I am sure that the common consensus for anime games is "This'll die in a month when the next anime game takes its place." I really hope that this does not hold true for SCARLET NEXUS. At the time of writing this, I have completed Yuito's story and mid-playthrough in Kasane's. A quick shoutout to my friends for getting me this game. This review will have absolutely no spoilers so you guys can experience this for yourselves. I highly recommend it.

The combat is one of the strongest aspects of this game. Kasane and Yuito fight with different styles, making your second playthough that more interesting. Combat is fast, and can be an absolute power trip assuming you use the environment to destroy all in your way properly. Fighting other humans is a much bigger challenge that put that power trip to a halt and even have their own "OH ♥♥♥♥" moments too.

The graphics and music is a very underappreciated aspect. I am NOT a good photographer or musician. There is something about this game that brings the best of the music and the environment to bring them together and create some absolutely beautiful areas. Heino Mountain is one such example, I sat on the peak of that mountain, watching the snow drift by while the stunning OST took me away. I have never done this for any other game. The character design is very cool and I really love the hood/mask design.

The characters are really great too. Its going to be hard to tell how I love them without spoiling them, but I will try. Just when you think that a character is 1 dimensional, they expose what makes them them. Luka is best boy. Fight me. There are bonding episodes too, I went in thinking it would become a dating sim, but it was not. It helped you understand each of the characters in a funny/wholesome event that is entirely optional.

Overall, this is my favorite game in my library. While most anime games die a month or two after their release to the steam page, this one will live in my heart and mind for quite a while. Thanks for reading. <3

Omega Labyrinth Life is the first of the series to make it to steam, and personally, I want more. If you look at the store page and think "It's Pokémon Mystery Dungeon with boobs", you are absolutely correct.

The most basic way to explain this game is delving into dungeons that have random items, monsters, even layouts. As you Defeat enemies, you gain Omega Power, which gives you bigger boobs.

The characters aren't really that memorable in my opinion with the exception of Juri Minase. Usually anytime I see an idol-like character, I just roll my eyes and groan. But Juri is an idol that can flip personality like a switch into an aggressive egomaniac. She is amazing.

The story isn't engaging. Why are we fighting for a garden of flowers of all things?
Oh yeah, the garden. The garden is how you gain resources to improve your items and stats. It's very time consuming and tedious.

On the whole, I personally really enjoy this game. (Might just be because I gave my life to Pokémon Mystery Dungeon and boobs.) I give this game a L Cup out of D.

I played Tom Clancy's The Division and The Division 2 pre-COVID-19, and playing it now... I realize that if someone were to create the Green Poison scenario, humanity would be doomed. I am going to address some of my favorite and least favorite parts of the game.

Tom Clancy's The Division is perfectly represented by the state of New York presented in game; cold, harsh, unforgiving. Don't expect go into the higher difficulties as a lone player and have a good time.

The stories that this game tells through drones, phones, laptops, and echos is without a doubt my favorite part of the game as a whole. So many stories from people doing day to day business to hearing of why SHD agents went rogue.

How do you make a simple antagonist faction that is also interesting? The Cleaners. I LOVE these guys. To keep it simple, imagine your local garbage men suited up in hazmat suits, put a giant propane tank on their back, grabbed a couple AKs with a flamethrower strapped to them, and set out to burn the virus out of the city. Obnoxious opinion that nobody asked for: Joe Ferro did nothing wrong.

Survival is regarded as the best part of what the Division has to offer, and I agree. There are a lot of people that say it should have been what the base game should have been like, and that is where I have to disagree. While it is fun, Survival is a very challenging experience.

Underground is probably my favorite part of this game, despite mixed opinions. Having randomly generated missions set for you is really cool.

Resistance in the West Side Pier is a very cool idea. Just wish I could have someone to partner up with so I can get past the virus waves.

The one thing I hate most in this game however, are the Riker tank units. I have no idea who in the development team gave this monster the green light. Let's go over it. Explosive bullets? Check. LMG to keep you suppressed while moving towards you? Check. The reload of their LMG is completed instantly? Yep. Their one weak spot can only be destroyed once and doesn't even do that much damage? UH HUH.

I can guarantee that if you pit a Riker tank vs the final boss of the game, the Riker tank will win and kill you afterwards.

Overall, I give this game 3 Riker tanks out of 10.

No Honolulu. This game sucks.

But in all seriousness, there is a lot to dislike about this game. But in my opinion, it does have some redeeming qualities. Unfortunately, the negatives outweigh the positives here.

Having an Azur Lane game that does not have any of the gacha aspects is quite interesting. The ability to have characters unlocked throughout the story instead of through random chance is very welcoming to those that want to learn about the different ships. There are also no character rarities. Everyone is equal, so your favorite character is viable throughout the entire game.
Another unique concept that I personally enjoyed is grouping bonuses. When you build your team, you can get bonuses for having matching attributes among them. These can range from having 3+ of the same faction, 3+ with matching hair color, even 3+ with crop tops, booty shorts, even garter belts. This makes building your team that much more interesting.

As fun as it is to blow stuff up, after the 5th mission, nothing new happens. You fight the same enemies, in the same cell by cell battlefield. Each battle lasts for at most 2 minutes. And after the battle, you are flooded with visual novel level amount of dialogue. If that doesn't sound that bad, take into account that there are seven chapters in the main story.

The character models are acceptable, but the amount of bloom that the in-game filter applies makes the game blinding to look at. This filter removes all possible shading that the character models could have and makes them look dreadful.

If I catch wind of a 3D Girls Frontline game in the development, I hope that it doesn't follow in this game's footsteps.
