Great game! Have played through it twice now.

The few bugs I have encountered are pretty minor and not game impacting.

DLC adds a lot of lore and challenges if the base game was not enough for you.

Probably one of my favorite Assassin's Creed games, however I am partial to the Greek. Excellent mechanics and did not get stopped by any game breaking bugs.

Good game, a bit repetitive but over all enjoyable.

Great game. Really enjoyed the mechanics and the game play. Well written story. If you enjoy the zelda-esque style this is a great buy. Looking forward to playing the sequel once I pick it up.

For me, I enjoyed the game overall. Cons: I felt like portions of the game were very slow to the point where I was a bit bored. Pros: Great story, simplistic combat.

The game was definitely more centered around the story over combat. Some things seem to be in the game as very ancillary such as hunting for the babies. It could use a bit more content since it does seem a little bit lacking in stuff to do. I beat the game in a few hours (but says more because I left it open while doing other things). The hit boxes seemed a little off sometimes where I was basically swinging into the enemies and getting randomly clipped and damaged however you eventually do get used to it.

If you are an achievement hunter, the ones for this game are pretty straight forward to obtain and generally you can just follow the natural path to complete them all.

Reventure is game of 101 different endings, and it's up to you to find them all. It's a cute game to grind out and puzzle through to figure out the combination of items to trigger possible scenarios. If you enjoy the critical thinking some of these can take, then definitely pick up this game. If you get stuck or frustrated the wiki has hints and there are walkthroughs on youtube for all of the ends.

Great game, definitely recommend if you are into grindy hack n slash games.

Only Con i would give it is how easy the enemies are in general. The start of the game feels just like a tutorial for the most part. Once you finish the graveyard, tutorial is over but the enemies aren't much harder.

Edit: I love that the leveling system is for literally everything. You can level up your gear, your skills, your weapons, basically everything.

I will definitely be putting a lot of time into this game in the future, I really can't wait to see how the game develops.

Edit: The difficulty does ramp up a bit in regards to throwing more enemies at you after you clear the first area and start running expeditions and increasing the difficulty. The enemies will still have telegraphed attacks, but they do a good job of throwing a lot of them at you making it harder to dodge everything. Basically becomes a grindy bullet hell for gear, slorm, and gold.

i played 8 hours of this game the first day I received it. Was able to get through three of the bosses and unlocked about half of the gifts to give to the NPCs. Pretty fun game, definitely worth a play if you are into roguelikes.

The Combat isn't super complex but once you get the dodging and parrying down, it goes a long way to making combat interesting.

There are quit a few weapons already in the game with variations effects that they can trigger. You will definitely find that you enjoy certain weapon fighting styles over others and I greatly enjoyed having to master weapons through use/killing enemies.

On controller the ranged attack is a bit annoying to aim at some times but overall not bad and the abilities you can find really changes things with mixing in all the pieces into each combat. I did find I got animation locked while using the abilities, but you can account for this once learn the different enemies' fighting styles.

Overall a good Roguelike and really enjoyed the interplay of emotions and interpersonal skill building with the NPCs.

I couldn't get into the game. It does a poor job of really directing you on what to do or even basic game mechanics. This game is still really rough and I've tried it twice now, once on initial release and then again just tonight. The game has a long way to go before it can compete with Stardew or any other pixel-art "RPG" games.

Clunky combat, the RNG for combat seems heavily weighted against you at the start of the game to the point where you hit a starting enemy 1 in 7 hits. When getting up against multiple enemies you just seem to fall down dead with no real way to dodge attacks. Non-intuitive crafting system. Lack of any semblance of direction at the start of the game.

I do like the idea of creature collecting for the game, however their abilities in combat are just as lack-luster as the rest of the combat system.
