absolute banger of a roguelike.

The same as GTA online, just P2W with predatory player retention mechanics. If you want to RP as a cowboy go play an RP server, it's more fun and you'll get the experience you're looking for!

Love the game, hate the monetisation. You can't get ahead without spending money or dedicating your life to it.

If you just want to RP as a biker gang with the boys, I recommend finding an RP server. The official servers have some really overpowered P2W items like the Oppressor which can completely ruin your day for no reason other that someone decided you're their next target. They're also full of hackers and Rockstar doesn't seem to care.

Single player campaign is still an all time classic though.

Takes a while to get going and understand everything but it's worth it to stick it out through the early game. There's lots of ways to play the game and different phases of as you become more wealthy and powerful. Exploring is eerie and dangerous as well as rewarding.

I'll come back to this game when it hits 1.0 - It's not finished yet, but the content that's already in the game is very fleshed out (no pun intended). I played until I got bored of being overpowered in my last play through, but I sure the devs have some tougher enemies and more challenging content with what's still to come.

If you're looking for a tough RPG with a unique art style and solid combat, give it a chance!

This is one of those brutal games that doesn't treat you fairly, but that's what makes it so satisfying to win.

There's a lot of games that are trying to be like Dome Keeper, but they don't get close. The original isn't always the best, but in this case, it is.

It's just crack.

One of the best and most unique TD games ever made.
