RimWorld as an experience that be described as orchestrated chaos, the colony management system is so unique and complicated that you might survive for years - storing food, mining metals, making weapons and dealing with the storyteller's choice of events - just to have 2 colonists divorce, leading one to go on a killing spree and he stabs your only doctor and no one can stop this other guy bleeding to death. it's a good game... i'm fine.

Cons:
-the world map isn't the nicest to use.
-if you have a low cpu/ram you won't be able to build colonies with 16+ people without considerable drops in frames

I played 5.7 hours then stopped, It's really not that fun, it's not even nostalgic because of the new UI, It's very well optimised and very fun, but I can't recommend it at full price, i got it 50% because I own the original

The comparisons to JC3 have to stop. Yes the cut scenes in JC4 make you want to gouge your eyes out but a trademark of Just Cause is the porno-level / Fast-And-Furious-Level dialogue and this game delivers. The high octane carnage looks great. At full price i can't recommend it but it's in a good sale now and it's worth it. JC3 is an amazing game, but it was also around when sandbox titles weren't as numerous as today.

Fantastic game similar to the likes of Left4Dead and Vermintide in that it's a 4-player PvE shooter but that's where the similarity ends, you can freely mine through the terrain and the procedural generation includes some "set pieces" which are gorgeously hand-crafted caverns to explore and mine.
The community is fantastic and everyone embraces corporate dwarf mining culture, shepherding the new greenbeards before their usual demise. This design choice to embraces noobs as part of it's lore has resulted in a playerbase which can't be toxic about it because they'll just sound like they're roleplaying dwarves.
The proper ways of communications being a ping system and pressing V to shout "ROCK AND STONE!!!"

A few of the things that blows me away in this game is the enemy variation (on par with half-life 2), alcoholic buffs, and obscene sci-fi tools that perfectly fit the setting. Ignoring the enormous content updates, these things make this game something to keep coming back to.

Why would you look at that, another promising game ruined because it peaked during early access and then punished it's struggling playerbase with (Updates?? No!) cosmetic micro-transactions!!!

I really tried to love this game, although A.I. pathing issues ruined every one of my saved games I still made a new saved game.... Rogue Factor and Focus Home Interactive do not deserve your money for this product! It's only "out of EARLY ACCESS" so they can sell £5 costume changes of cut content.

The engine isn't even complete, if you spend £35 on this just know you are essentially paying to access a great, but half finished game that has the most frustrating bugs - you will wonder how they took it out of early access.
