The Good
-good improvement to AI
-feels great with a wheel
-Career mode makes a (slightly) improved return. R&D has seen some improvement and driver academies and contracts are a nice addition
-eSport multiplayer challenges
-weekly events
-multiplayer customization
-Career driver transfers
-great physics

The Bad
-multiplayer (and sometimes single player) collision penalties are horrendous. I will receive 2 second penalties for getting nailed in the back Kyvat style in every multiplayer race
-the "story" of Career mode is lack luster. Just some filler challenges and cutscenes, and the F2 characters replace F1 drivers as you move up. I like the step in the story direction, but it is very shallow. Hoping for a full F2 feeder career if not meaty story next year.
-I occasionally get a glitch loading into a multiplayer race where it stops loading. This happens to everyone in the lobby and you must ALT+F4.
-The drivers in multiplayer can be frustrating, but ranked is good for those who want a clean and competitive race (most of the time)

Other Notes
-some people have reported frequent crashing. I have not crashed once and have suffered just a few frame stutters. Maybe once or twice but just on Russia and France for some reason.


I would give it a 8/10. Great simcade racing game that anyone can enjoy with a wheel or game pad.
