STOP LEARNING MAHJONG
• GAMES WERE NOT SUPPOSED TO INVOLVE MATH
• SO MANY YAKU yet NO REAL-WORLD USE FOUND for anything more than TANYAO
• Wanted to go for bigger hands anyway? We had a tool for that: It was called "GUESSING"
• "I should build junchan, sanshoku, and iipeiko, and call riichi so I have a chance to get ura dora" - Statements dreamed up by the utterly Deranged
LOOK at what Pros have been demanding your Respect for all this time with all the tiles & yaku we created for them (These are REAL hands, played by REAL players):

I tried to play this game like a Pokemon game only to get my whole glass cannon team bodied by a funny gorilla dude with a goat head. It was at that moment I realized brute force strategy does not work in this game, then I switched to the "classic" RPG team (Tank/Healer/DPS) and came back to delete the f-cker.

10/10 would get punched in the face by a funny gorilla dude with a goat head again.

A decent rhythm game, but a fun game nonetheless.

Reviews should be about (and only) about the game not about the political climate around the devs. If you want a refund because of their statement or if you don't want to play it, sure. Just leave the people who have no ideal what Hololive is and just want to play game to make their own decision.

Even if the devs are trash (which they aren't, blame the publisher), please don't review bomb any game. Review bombing is and always is petty and childish. Remember last year when Warframe got review bombed by some Chinese players for having Taiwan as a separate region from China? Now you are the same as them. We're here to enjoy our vtubers, not hate on Chinese games devs.

This is, without a doubt, the best historical TW game I've ever played. Now before you start screaming "heresy" allow me to explain why:
Attila is a darker version of Rome 2, most of the mechanics are fairly similar between the two but with Attila instead of being a Rome conquest game its much more about the decline of Rome and that can be seen in the game: Settlement razing - You can raze enemy settlements or you can even choose to raze your own settlements in order to launch a scorched earth campaign against the enemies at the gates.
The combat feels really great, cavalry charges and flanks are devastating, infantry combat from the front is slow. There's no more magic satellite link-up guided arrows from Shogun 2. Ranged units just feel much better than Rome 2. The fatigue system is neat in that you can cycle units in and out of combat to rapidly return to fresh.
The long term fertility situation, sanitation vs public order vs food, politics, offices and other systems are involved and feel really fun to manage once you understand them.
There is also the horde mechanic which can make things interesting. The Huns are a purely horde faction who have limited economic prospects beyond sacking and/or razing enemy settlements or maintaining a large number of vassal barbarian tribes. The Barbarians can also choose to pull up stakes, abandon their provinces and migrate elsewhere to avoid the Huns and perhaps better attack the Romans who can be sitting ducks.
by the way, the 5th Century doesn't interest you? Try the Age of Charlemagne DLC or the 1212AD Mod. You don't like historical TW and for whatever reason you don't want to play TW Warhammer? this game even has Lord of the Rings mod lmao.
HOWEVER, why people are so negative about Attila you ask? Because it forced players out of their comfort zone, they don't like the lack of food penalties, the diseases and climate change mechanic, Attila (compare to other TW) is a survival game not an empire building game. If other Total War games are ''haha map painting go brrrr'' this game is "live to fight another turn". (it can still be modded to your liking tho).
