ITS PARTY TIME BABY

A fairly basic survival game with cute interactions, but much of the survival games out there have all this and more, with multiplayer, which is way more fun. Doing it alone without the option to survive with friends can feel pretty boring.

A little idealistic, but a sunny view of life as a game developer, with certain views into some of the trials and tribulations of what it takes to survive

Got a fairly accurate and tl;dr synopsis of the One Piece story up to Caesar's Land of Death as well as cutscenes for most of the important parts.

A roguelike action game with very fluid controls and a smorgasbord of weapons, magic spells, evasive maneuvers, and other cool tricks to play with. The game feels very nice with a controller and is even passable with keyboard and mouse. Gameplay has a nice difficulty curve and is challenging, with an option to turn down the difficulty if necessary. Would be nice to have one to turn it up as well in the future.

It tells a story of a yuppie in the big city, and while it hits many relatable notes with people of similar age, the story is still a bit barebones. It feels like going through the motions with no cohesive main plot. Maybe that's just how life is though. There are constantly updates to the game though, so I expect that to be filled out later.

Overall the game is very solid and fun to play, but the story that is told feels somewhat empty, like a lot of separate dialogues with no connecting threads. Good for fans of roguelikes, which often have an extremely shallow or no story at all, but the game seems to be teasing a deeper story without following through.

Minesweeper has never been this engaging. Not Minesweeper Flags, not Minesweeper Adventure, not anything. This is the minesweeper-inspired game you want.

EDIT: Now if only the dev would fix all the game crash bugs and the multiplayer ones too

A very interesting hybrid between survivalist and XCom tactical, Mutant Year Zero manages to tell a fairly interesting tale while delivering solid gameplay. The survivalist and resource management come into play a lot, and pre-combat stealth positioning is done in real time as opposed to XCOM, although the actual battles are a little less complex and a little more XCOM lite. Don't be fooled though, the Iron Mutant (Iron man) mod can be just as brutal.
