Early Access Review
With over 300 hrs played, Solo and with friends, I highly recommend this Survival builder. The work the developers have put into this over these years is great.
The environments are detailed and each have unique looks and enemies, as well has new building materials, equipment, and npcs.
The building mixes games like, 7days2die and minecraft, and other high end builders. Also, building isn't just about placement, its about necessity and imagination. While you progress, the area you can build will grow and you can pretty much take over any area that you want to settle down in, and have multiple bases. Gathering materials isn't terribly tedious and areas will re-spawn enemies and items.
Farming isn't hard and doesn't too long, and food has effects to help the players along the way.
Enemies can be challenging, but not unbeatable. Parry, block, dodge, or fight!
There are some secrets in the game and hopefully later some cool POI's.
I am constantly going back and building in different locations, achievement hunting, and trying different builds.
(Just a tip, mages are a challenging starter class, but you can reskill your character anytime. Have fun Flameborn!)

It isn't a game to be picked up and expect to be done easily. For Pro Dark Souls Vets, sure. For firsttime souls players, might be a little rough at start. But if you take your time and explore more, upgrade right, and not try to fight every big boss you come across right away. You might have fun. I played plenty and enjoy the story and the battles. NG+ with carryover weapons and DLC extra content.

Early Access Review
While it is still in Early Access, This game is simply Satisfying. Yes, I said it. Constantly being updated, this little gem feeds the need to build amazing factories over a beautiful world space. I do think it needs something more, but that's just my opinion. If you aren't looking to spend the money now, on an unfinished game, just note that this game has kept me busy for days on end, and is somewhat relaxing and frustrating at the same time. 9/10
Edit: After all this time, I am glad to see this game hit the Alpha version! Rating stands as is! Love the game!

Hands down one of my go to games for messing around. While a lot of people may not like the way the game is, I believe it has developed nicely over the years. PC version is still better than the console and the mobile version, just so much more and better quality on PC.

It may have it's flaws just like any good game, but the game is a 10. Fantasy, role-playing, comedy, magic, castles, vampires, dragons, arrows in the knee and sweet rolls. Add a couple immersion mods and you have one heck of a survival game too. If you haven't played Oblivion or Morrowwind, some of the lore, stories, and jokes, might elude you, but you will still enjoy it. Oblivion is probably my favorite still, but Skyrim is a close second.

8/10 With respect.
I played once through, with no mods, with the DLC's Far Harbor and Automatron, and enjoyed it very much. There were moments that were really irritating, to a FO3 and NV fan, but the overall experience was really fun.
With all the bad reviews, which i am open-minded to but not completely reliant on, for the other DLC's, like Nuka-World and the workshops, I have moved to using mods. I have found almost all that I needed to further gameplay without paying for any extra content. While there are many mods out there to choose, from armor, weaopns, quests, and immersion mdos, maybe Bethesda might want to focus on better and more expansive DLC's.

With Mods 9/10. (It's not perfect, but it does make it more fun, creative, and immersive, which is important to me.)

You can check out my screenshots, there are some with and without mods.
