Great game, but really bad port on PC

It's like Vampire Survivors, but for virgins

A cynical pyro main told me to play it, and he's right. The game is good.

Responsive controls, awesome music, fantastic shooting mechanics, and crazy fun with or without friends.
It's still in early access and it shows, but that doesn't retract from the experience.
If you like rogue-likes similar to Risk of Rain 2, you'll love this game.

This game has always sat in the middle on whether or not I would recommend it.
On the one hand, it has:
- Some of the best PvE combat I've ever played in a game.
- Responsive and easy-to-understand controls.
- Beautiful soundtrack and visuals (the UI specifically is gorgeous).

But on the other hand, it suffers from:
- Campaign stories that feel like an after-thought to the actual missions themselves.
- A greedy, downright unfair, DLC management system.
- Unclear instructions on what to do after the tutorials.

Basically, it has its ups and downs, with the worst offender being the DLCs. Destiny 2 isn't free, it costs nearly 150 USD to get access to all of the content it offers. With Bungie removing some of the previous expasions, it feels like Bungie has no respect for its veteran players. I would've loved to play the older missions, but that is a by-gone dream right now. With all that being said, though, I think Destiny 2 still brings a lot of experiences that can help satisfy that itch for magical, sci-fi, PvE combat you may have. If you're willing to put all that I've said past you, I think you'll have fun with this game, especially if you decide to get the story expansions; even more so if you decide to get into the game alongside your buddies.

For a free-to-download game, it has its merits, but it won't keep you hooked for too long without caving in to some purchases.
