It's pretty good. Unfortunately, base online is dead (excluding The Last Stand, a simple yet fun 3-player cooperative wave defence mode). There is modding though.

The campaign is pretty fun as you can now choose between the different DoW2 races. A downside of this is that each campaign is almost identical apart from the use of different heroes. It also doesn't feel like there's as much of a narrative compared to Chaos Rising and especially the base game, and it's a bit shorter.
